Service and food were excellent. The property was spotless. The only problem we had was they put us in a building with construction noise and we asked to move, which we did. Also, the rooms are very automated, and the air conditioning sensor didn't work properly. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Food was great and had no problems getting a table. They do close one restaurant each night, so make sure you find out which ones are closed during your stay. Also, we loved the piano bar with the specialty drinks, but the piano was extremely out of tune. It sounded like a cheap saloon in a western movie. Sad considering the piano player was very good. Overall we would go back again and probably will.

Our stay was beautiful, I will not deny that. However it was not without a few letdowns. I am a woman who is all about a pool and was so excited to swim in the absolutely gorgeous pool I saw in all the photos online. I visited the week of Jan 1- Jan 7th and the weather was quite warm about 75 degrees every day. HOWEVER, the pool was absolutely FREEZING to the point where I was shivering being in it. Felt like an ICE BATH :( It was not enjoyable and with this being a secluded/ all inclusive hotel there weren't very much other forms of entertainment during the day except for the pool and the beach (the water was warm at the beach). It was so disappointing. I called the front desk to ask if anything could be done but they stated was no pool heater/temperature adjuster. We paid about 4 grand total for this trip and to be completely honest were only able to enjoy the pool once. My next complaint comes to the beach. We went to the beach which gets pretty bus. There was a day where every single chair was full and two of the hotel cabanas were being taken over by random street vendors - taking away two spots for the guests from the 100% packed beach area. These guys were NOT a part of the hotel and are the vendors who go around trying to sell cigars, etc. I watched the staff pass by them multiple times and say nothing while ACTUAL GUESTS had nowhere to lounge by the beach. That was very disappointing as these guys were laughing loudly, staring at guests, and did not move as people walked by looking for chairs. Other than that I will admit that the food was great, the staff was super nice, the hotel grounds were IMPECCABLE, the rooms were nice, everything else was quite lovely. But for the reasons listed I will not be staying at this all inclusive again, although you can still make the most of it and have a lovely experience overall. I'd recommend a stay if you're not going for the main reason of enjoying the pool and the beach.

The staff is very professional, very friendly & helpful. Service was exceptional. The rooms, restaraunts, pools, spa, bars & beach were all great. Exceeded our expectations & we'll definitely be going back in the future.

A place where we feel pampered and loved. The staff are all very attentive to our needs and fast in delivering their services. 7 different-themed restaurants with great food and good NIghtly music. Room accommodation is spacious and has that romantic atmosphere.

La verdad no nos gustó ni el ambiente, por qué literalmente se hospeda pura gente de la tercera o cercana a la tercera edad, la comida es simplemente horrible, no tiene sabor, sazón, nada! Y el servicio es promedio la verdad, limpieza muy bien. Nunca volveríamos. Muy muy caro para lo que ofrecen

This is a very big resort, stayed at of the oceanfront rooms, althought one thing you couldnt see from our room was the ocean actually. The staff is really nice but everything is a hassle in this resort. when you go to the pool area you need to take your towels to the pool, if you dont they wont provide you one. everytime waiting 10 minutes for a cart to arrive since the resort is big and cant go around all the time by walking. the restaurants are really really strict with dress code, no matter how nice you are dressed, if your shirt doesnt have a collard they will turn you away, which happened to me and it was such a downer since the concierge booked the restaurant for us and i didnt have any idea about the strict dress code. at the end of the day we are here on vacation this much stress over dressing is very unnecessary. forgot to mention the pool felt like an ice plunge since the water was soo cold and i spoke to a lot of guests they were upset about it as well. you simply just couldnt jump in the water. I have been to soo many resorts in all around mexico and this one by far was the least favorite one. Dont think we would be back.

Travelers Beware!!! I got food poisoning twice and we woke up to cockroaches regularly! A 5 star resort the Valentín is not and if you plan on eating during your trip without getting sick, I would stay clear of this resort!!

Property was nice but have never been turned away from a resorts restaurant for dinner due to wearing dress shorts and a polo. The best restaurant was the surf and turf on the beach. The group we were with was disappointed with the dinners at the restaurants I could not partake in so I did not miss much
