they were kind to me, but charged me extra 75 dollars for using a third party to make a reservation and denied to give me extra sheets.

I have not been reimbursed my $75.00 as of today. Why???

This is a Holiday Inn Express, not a destination stay. It is fine. The breakfast hours need to be extended to 10:30AM as they are at many hotels like this in order to accommodate late arrivals and thereby late morning wake up. The rooms are new but not cleaned with care. That needs to be addressed now before wear and tear undermines what makes this place a reasonable ‘on the road’ stop-over stay you feel safe and secure and confident is clean, to use. ( I.e.: a good stop on the road from say NYC to Atlanta if you are driving it, kind of thing…). So to reiterate— it’s new (for now) so not disgusting (yet). Needs better, more thorough housekeeping now to keep it nice, and breakfast should be extended to accommodate late arrivals until at least 10:30AM. Otherwise it is a perfectly fine, side of the road/off the highway stay. It is a Holiday Inn Express— anything with the word ‘express’ in it should give you an idea that there will be limitations. ;-)))). Staff was very sweet. The $75 retainer fee for incidentals should be $50. That is excessive. But it drops off, so no real big deal. That’s about it. Would I use it again— only for another year or two as I predict it will get dirtier, shabbier quickly with the lack of attention to detail with regard to the housekeeping….

Very nice hotel. Loved that they had actual handwash in the room (liquid, not the bar of soap). I usually have to bring my own from home. Breakfast had good options and seating.

Conveniently located near the highway, clean rooms, friendly staff.

The area around the hotel was a bit shady but I didn’t have any problems.

Our first show the smoke detector was beeping every 30 seconds and they did not want to switch us to another room. I had to persuade them to and after I did the toilet and that room was not working. The breakfast was burnt and disgusting. The room was dirty. We will never stay at this hotel again.

The property is located well, rooms are large, fairly clean, but property used heavily and there is a work odor that comes from construction workers and others. We stayed at a comfort in a month or so ago, in this same area, and they were10’s all the way around. Just as a comparison
