We were in one of the Fairway suites away from the main hotel building, it was extremely comfortable with a separate seating area it was nice having our own little "house" to come back to.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff very pleasant and attentive.
Great place to stay even if you aren't a golfer!

A hotel that sums up all the best for a short stay in Scotland - it has a warm and welcoming ambience that is further enhanced by friendly and helpful staff. Food is excellent and the breakfast buffet outstanding and sets you up for the day. The views are magnificent and can strongly recommend adding this hotel to your itinerary.

Hotel is beautiful. Staff are polite.
Room was swelteringly hot, windows rattled so could not stay open during the night.
No car charging points.
No gym.
Evening meal was good but could have been hotter, muscles were warm not piping hot.
Staff took a while to get from kitchen to your table if you asked for sauce (for example)
Overall a nice hotel but is not as good as it professes to be.

Great place to stay. Unfortunate power cut overnight no fault of the hotel however the response to the event was beyond poor no welfare checks met with poor response from staff in the reception at breakfast -!! Email response to our complaint was severely lacking .
