艾雅納奔巴度假村(The Aiyana Resort & Spa)

The intersection of luxury, design and natural beauty! Incredible art accentuated nature beauty without detracting from it. Rooms perfectly appointed form and function to focus views on the panoramic appealing aesthetics. Grounds and gardens were lush but not encroaching. Meals were gourmet! Staff was attentive but not intrusive. Aiyana exponentially exceeded expectations.

Trente luxueuses villas, noyées dans un luxuriant et poétique jardin tropical, s’ouvrent toutes sur l’océan indien turquoise. La restauration, de grande qualité, est inventive et uniquement constituée de produits frais, poissons en tête. Le SPA offre des moments de détente et de soins inoubliables dans un cadre enchanteur. Toute l’équipe est au petits soins sous l’œil attentionné du propriétaire heureux de recevoir et d’offrir à ses clients une qualité de service parfaite. Le plus bel hôtel que je connaisse dans tout l’océan indien….

The general experience was like once in a lifetime; unique paradise! We'll go back there. The infrastructure is just fantastic, the owner is an exceptional person...what he realized there is unique: the villa's are splendid, all with view on the sea, a beautiful swimming poool, great massages - try it on the rock, my wife just loved it ! the people from the local villages were given jobs and they perform so well: with a smile and enthusiasm they make your stay like living in a dream.The food is just perfect/delicious...and the service just great. The manager is permanently looking around to make sure everything goes smoothly and making your stay unforgettable. The owner was so generous to offer us a great aperitivc and a tour around the property....plus many other things prior to our departure. JUST GO THERE AND YOU WILL SAY THANK YOU FOR THE TIP BECAUSE THERE ARE NO WORDS THAT CAN SAY HOW WONDERFUL IT WAS. JE

The location is breathtaking. I spent a lot of time, effort and money getting here. I have spent time on Mafia Island which was amazing and also in Stonetown which I loved. I had high expectations of this resort, all of which were crushed within half an hour of arrival. There was no toilet paper or towels in the reception bathroom and the toilet handle was broken. We were taken to breakfast. The serving staff did not understand English, did not know what milk was, that we required napkins or even cutlery. Our waiter was wearing a torn uniform. I asked the guest relations officer to help. Nothing was done. The omelette was raw and served with a vienna sausage. This is an expensive and supposedly upmarket resort. It is NOT. Our massive room has a too small airconditioning unit in it and is boiling hot. The curtain rail is falling down. The outside door is rotting off its hinges. There is sketchy wifi in the reception areas but they are very willing to “sell you a router for your room” at $$$ extra. The whole resort has the look and feel of a crumbling masterpiece but charges 5 star prices. Service, maintenance must all be hugely improved.

Beautiful hotel in Pemba. The only problem is that if you stay there, you will not want to visit the island. We stayed at the royal suite, that is on a hill, with a pool and stuning view. The food could be better, but it is ok. Staff, specially Bela, is great.

Que dire de l’Aiyana… On pourrait penser que c’est un hôtel de luxe situé dans un lieu paradisiaque encore préservé. SPA formidable, chambre de rêve, plage idyllique… Mais L’Aliyana de part son histoire et son mode de fonctionnement c’est un peu plus que tout cela. L’hôtel a été construit et fonctionne avec les habitants du village voisin. Chacun d’eux a pour unique but de vous faire aimer leur île dont ils sont si fier. Alors oui, tout n’est pas parfait mais tout est parfaitement magique et bienveillant. Notre séjour, qui se voulait reposant l’a été au delà de nos espérances mais contre toute attente il a été aussi inspirant, régénérant, ressourçant et surtout INOUBLIABLE. Un grand merci à Epiphania, Burhan, Adgi, El capitan et à la brillante et irremplaçable Mattea. Un immense BRAVO à Achok pour avoir créé cette alchimie accomplie et en avoir fait un lieu unique. Excellent stay even though it rained 2 full days while I was there. The room and grounds are gorgeous. The bathtub and outside shower are amazing. Note there’s no wifi in the villas but you can download in the main dining area. The meals were scrumptious. You will not leave hungry. The fresh juices were delicious and the tuna poke bowl was a favorite. The dining staff is very attentive and would bring me seconds of what I liked before even thinking to ask. They even packed me a breakfast as I had an early flight. The beach is beautiful though it is a little rocky when you first enter the water and then it’s fine. I snorkeled which was great. I had a good massage though I felt like the staff needed a bit more training but my expectations may have been high due to reception and the dining staff’s treatment. Highly recommend if you want to get it away from all. Truly a beautiful place.

The Aiyana "wow", that's the second time we've stayed there over a long weekend. It is one of the best beach resorts in Tanzania, offering tranquility and natural surroundings away from the mass tourism. The rooms are huge and have a dreamy bathroom with an additional outdoor shower overlooking the sea. The kitchen is healthy and well chosen. I can only recommend the excursion to the sandbank and the mangroves as well as the snorkeling activity. It was definitely not the last time we would spend our short vacation there. The staff is professional and the manager Hassan fulfilled our every wish, we felt like we were at home. Thanks very much

Hello 👋🏼 Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve à Pemba. Après une semaine de Safari entre Ngorongoro et la parc National du Serengeti c’était l’endroit idéal pour se ressourcer avant notre retour en France. Pour celles et ceux qui recherchent un endroit authentique, au calme et éviter la frénésie de l’île de Zanzibar, l’Ile de Pemba est l’endroit idéal. Notre séjour a l’hôtel the Aiyana c’est merveilleusement bien passé. Une mention particulière au Management et à ses équipes qui on fait en sorte que nous nous sentions chez nous... L’ensemble de l’équipe rendu ce moment magique. Des jardiniers, au personnel de chambre en passant par le service de restauration, l’ensemble de l’équipe vous accueille avec le smile ! Une mention particulière à Hassan - le manager véritable chef d’orchestre ayant joué une partition parfaite. Pour les amateurs de vins vous trouverez une cave assez variée - j’ai été agréablement surpris. Au final, le clap de fin pour résumer ce voyage : PARFAIT. Merci l’Aiyana, nous reviendrons for sure !
