The hotel was clean and the kids really enjoyed the breakfast. On our second day there, we had a very negative experience with the lady at the front desk. She was incredibly and unnecessarily rude. That definitely tarnished our stay.

We thought the hotel was okay. When we arrived, the person at the desk didn’t acknowledge us even though we were standing right in front of her. She just kept doing what she was doing instead of just greeting us and letting us know that she would be right with us. We have always enjoyed our stays at other La Quinta hotels, so we hope this was just an unfortunate experience that won’t happen again.

Check in was rude. I was traveling with blind person and lady at desk said she saw thought she saw me get out of car on passenger side. And was just rude about it. I told here my passenger was blind and didn’t even have a drivers license. But I didn’t even understand why she was even questioning it because we didn’t even ask for a special room we just wanted a room . I am just grateful the lady I was traveling with was in the car and did not have to witness her behavior. Rest of sty was good. But the rooms need to be checked more carefully. Phone didn’t work. Remote missing battery cover. Refrigerator froze all drinks even on lowest setting.

The staff could’ve been a little more professional. I had a simple request and the elderly looking lady at the front desk was very snappy and not friendly at all. She was the sane person at check in and check out. This location must’ve been very low on staff. My family and I were there for New Year’s Eve . That was literally the only bad experience we had the entire trip. The hotel itself was very nice.

The property was as expected. I do want to suggest a few easy improvements that would have made this hotel even better. 1. Pillows were deflated and there was only three per bed so we had to request more pillows. They only had two extras available so I have to assume multiple rooms requested extra pillows. 2. Most hotels have soap/shampoo dispensers now in the showers. Not that there is anything wrong with a bar of soap just an improvement suggestion. 3. TV in the room was pretty out dated. Overall the room was great and we have no complaints. We actually had two rooms so I will have to say both rooms were great.

Whoever was the manager when we stayed was very, very rude to us. She made me wait twenty minutes without looking up at me or helping me or anything.

The motel is old and has been renovated in part but is still lacking in many ways. For example there are no USB charging ports in the room, as I have had in some others, and the mattress was "cratered" in the middle from many years of use. That made the bed less than comfortable. One day when I got up, there was an 1" long cockroach in the room. The daytime front desk personnel were less than polite - and when our plans had to change (death of a friend) and we had to leave early I was informed that I could "choose early departure, but we will not refund any of your reservation" in a hostile tone. I would not stay there again, nor would I recommend this motel to anyone.

The check in was atrocious, it wasn't until I got to the desk that I realized why, Tarica or whatever her name is took her time at every opportunity and couldn't be bothered to reach for a form at the spot where she placed it after I filled it out. I can only imagine how frustrating it was for the foreigners in front of me. When reservations are made why can't some of that info already be populated in the form you initial? I get that you're only going to have one person working at 7 and 9pm and it's the off season but a self checkin kiosk would mitigate unmotivated employees.
