Every staff member we encountered during our stay was extremely friendly and helpful and each one we encountered acknowledged us with a warm hello and a smile which is so rare these days! The rooms were very clean and we slept like babies! The breakfast was the best yet that we have had on our travels! All around great stay and will come back for sure! Thank you to all the employees of this hotel for loving your jobs and providing excellent service.. it goes a long way and is much appreciated!

It was difficult to pick an appropriate rating for our overnight stay in Willcox as one substantial problem overshadowed an otherwise acceptable experience. It is something we can laugh about now, but after nine hours of driving it wasn't so funny. The first room we were checked into smelled horribly of smoke. My call to the front desk somehow got disconnected. We took all our bags back down to the front desk. The receptionist, who had just checked us in, could not find our reservation but finally was able to book us into another room, apologizing for the smoke smell in our first room. Upon opening the door to the second room we were checked into, a man started yelling "who's there, who's there!" whereupon we apologized and quickly closed the door. Back down to the front desk, where the nice lady again could not find our reservation but finally prevailed and provided us with an upgraded room. It all went smoothly after that.

I liked the check-in and the bed. I strongly did not like the room being near the road. Every car that went by was noticed and traffic did not die down until 2 AM. Plus, the convenience store next door had hundreds of remote car doors being locked with a push of a button and a couple of toots of the horn. It was a miserable night trying to get some sleep.

The room as well as the hotel in general was in excellent condition and very well maintained. The hotel staff was friendly and very professional.
