Wonderful location! Wonderful and friendly staff. The food is delicious!

Wir waren auf der Durchreise nach Wilderness für eine Nacht hier. Das Haus sprach uns an, weil die Bewertung sehr gut waren und auch die Webseite sehr schön war. Viele tolle Bilder! Allerdings wurden wir dann doch etwas enttäuscht. Insbesondere ist hier sehr vieles in die Jahre gekommen. Das Mobiliar ist teilweise sehr alt und auch teilweise kaputt. Auch wirkte der Garten, der tollen Baumbestand hat, etwas verwahrlost und ungepflegt. Und unser Zimmer war jetzt auch nicht sehr sauber. Positiv war das Abendessen auf der Terrasse mit tollem Blick auf die Farm und die Berge. Sowohl der Service als auch das Essen war sehr gut.

Auf unserer Rundreise durch Südafrika das absolute Highlight. Wunderbares Guesthouse in einer atemberaubenden Landschaft. Leider nur für eine Nacht... Die Guesthouses sind toll und großzügig ausgestattet, sauber und bieten jeden Komfort (Klimaanlage, Minibar, Terrasse mit Zugang zum Pool). Der Service ist hervorragend, ebenso das Essen und Frühstück. Sehr interessant auch die Führung rund um die Straußenfarm. Weit mehr als nur eine Übernachtung wert.

Mooie Guest House, vroegere struisvogel boerderij. Ontbijt was goed en uitgebreid. Diner in restaurant moet je wel op voorhand reserveren. Grote, mooie kamers gelegen aan een zwembad. Vriendelijk personeel en de wagen werd 's morgens gewassen.

Endroit paradisiaque isolé et loin de tout. Guest house de qualité offrant des prestations de qualité. Repas et petit déjeuner de qualité et copieux. Le steak d’autruche est particulièrement délicieux. Le personnel est attentif et surtout le lieu est à tomber par terre. Magnifique. Tranquillité et volupté assuré.

Partiamo con il personale: S P L E N D I D O!! Mi hanno anche lavato la macchina parcheggiata mentre facevo colazione! Check in veloce e preciso. Il perdonale mi ha anche aiutato con una escursione prenotata dall’agenzia chiamando per darmi poi i dettagli. Le camere sono ampie e molto ben arredate. I bagni sono enormi con una bellissima vasca da bagno. Il ristorante della struttura, come molti in sud africa chiede di prenotare le pietanze della cena in anticipo. Il cibo anche del ristorante è molto buono, la colazione è ottima! Hanno anche tenuto aperto più a lungo per noi che siamo andati “lunghi” chiacchierando.

A truly special stay for a few nights. The reception was very friendly and welcoming and the lady gave us all the necessary information to make the stay a pleasant one. The room is superb and very comfortable with everything one could wish for. I just missed DStv to watch the international rugby match on the Saturday afternoon. The restaurant serves a mean breakfast. A bonus is that there was a friendly gentleman who cleaned your car, getting rid of the dust picked up on the gravel road. Another bonus is the beautiful view over the Little Karoo with the Swartberg Mountains in the background. A definite "Go again" place.

Perfect Place to come down from any Stress! See Meerkatz Adventure in the early Morning with sunrise and Chandelier to feed Sheila the giraffe! Go to the caves or just enjoy the perfect atmoshere on the property.

We booked the guest house for one night because we read the good reviews and also liked the website very much, it promised a luxurious and very nice stay. We really enjoyed the dinner (ostrich steak) on the terrace with a great view of the farm and the mountains behind it. Unfortunately, there is a clear maintenance backlog in many areas. Many things urgently need to be done here. Especially in the pool area (partly broken sun lounger). Also our room needs a new refurbishment (furniture etc.). And here we are not talking about getting rid of antique things. The garden also looked a bit careless and neglected.
