Shamrock Cove 酒店(Shamrock Cove Inn)

This is not a boutique motel. It is on a very busy street with lots of smoking and ashtrays full of butts on the old tables and chairs outside the rooms. The police came during our check in to get a sketchy fellow who was hanging out off the property. It was $150 night. We paid and moved to the Courtyard for $115 and enjoyed our surroundings more. We think we should have been able to cancel and get a refund once we saw the condition of the property. Didn’t feel safe.

I have nothing but admiration for people who preserve the past, but in this case the past has caught up with the present and the highway that it is located on and train tracks that it's next to provide a constant din that you need to block off with the AC constantly running in a tiny space, that is sadly in need or repair. No toiletries, including soap or Kleenex made for a sad experience.

Our actual rating is 3.5. The electric fireplace was perfect for heating the room, but not the bathroom. It was a very cold weekend and didn't want to shower and come into the cold. There's an authentic Cuban restaurant next door that serves breakfast/lunch/dinner. We walked and had breakfast. There are no storage drawers or dressers or anyplace to put a suitcase. We took the decorations off of the fireplace to use the mantle as a luggage rack. They give you 3 bottles of water and complimentary snacks. That was nice. It was clean, comfortable enough and we felt safe enough. Too cold to do a 9 minute walk downtown, but a 3 minute car drive to the free public parking garage was great.

It was quaint and cozy. It could use some redoing in the bathroom but was very clean. The host was very pleasant and helpful.

Room was very tired, property was very outdated, area was sketchy, we got a refund and found another place to stay.

It was located in a noisy area and was a little concerned about how safe it was. I didn't have any hot water and I couldn't control the volume on the TV. The gentleman that checked me in was very nice.

Quaint cozy motel. The rooms are decorated in different themes. Very comfortable bed, clean room. Snacks and water provided . The managers are outstanding, friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this motel.

Motel built in 1958 - quaint, country deco updates (see photos on website). Easy location, a little noisy, good for an overnight - reasonable rate. Due to illness, the helpful manager was able to kindly forward my booking to the next day without charge - thank you Michael! Was provided a new hair dryer on request. Variety of free snacks and strong coffee included.

This is the cutest little place I’ve ever seen. Super clean, well priced and walking distance from Ocala downtown. has a very homey antique vibe.
