I can not even put into words how horrible and tiresome this "check in' was. We arrived at 3:25 for a 4: guaranteed check in - which never happened. The lobby filled up with couples needing to get to their rooms to change for various functions. The front desk told us at 3:25 - arrival time - that they would call when room was ready which would be around 4:00 when cleaning would release rooms. Well, long story short we did not get a room until around 5:50 PM. Yes - 5:50 PM!! We sat in the lobby with no communication from anyone, and yes the lobby area filled up with those checking in. I had to check at the desk a few times to be told that they would release rooms when they can. One man got upgraded to a top floor room yet others, like myself, just sat their and waited laying on the sofas and chairs. Not acceptable - not at all. Giving me a $10 drink voucher is supposed to make this 2 hour delay go away. Shame on this hotel and honestly the front desk was nice- but were the heck was management!!!! A two hour delay in checking in - for a hotel price like they charge - then to put in a room that stared at the air conditioning unit?? Seriously. - where is they how can i make this right ?!?!!? Truly no words for how this check in went. Unfortunately, will have to look elsewhere for my next weekend there as just afraid that this might be a common theme with them.
