紐波特港碼頭酒店(The Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina)

A friend and I stayed at the Newport Harbor and Marina Hotel. We choose a room overlooking the water and marina. What a beautiful view. Really helped with the Winter Blues. The location is awesome, so close to tons of shops, restaurants, and easy walking. The pool was so refreshing. Wish the restaurant and lounge was open for dinner, but hopefully that will change in the near future. All in all, would definitely go here again.

Hotel is overly priced, restaurant was not open and pool was closed for repairs.

Entire floor smelled the urine, completely hits you in the face when the elevator opens. Elevators were way past inspection date. Rooms were very outdated, lots of broken hinges and doorknobs. Tub didn’t drain. There’s better accommodations at budget motels. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for charging what they do.

I made a reservation at this hotel from 9/1/23 - 9/4/23. I called the hotel around 4:30pm on 9/1/23 and told them that I wasn't going to make to the hotel on the 1st, and if they would allow me to check in on the 2nd instead. The person told me over the phone that it would be okay, but they would still charge for the night that I didn't stay. I got to the hotel on the 2nd, and the same person who spoke to me over the phone told me they gave my room away because it was a no show. She understood I called, and that I spoke to her over the phone, however, they did not have any rooms available at the hotel for me to stay. Her response, as well as the response of her manager was "I am sorry, but we can't do anything to help you with this". Horrible, terrible customer service. If I didn't call the day before, I would understand, but I called and I was told that they would hold the room. It was very frustrating to go through this situation. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Front desk manager was great. She upgraded us for the second night free of charge upon asking. Hotel bar was closed during our stay, disappointing but they comped amenity fees. Parking was easy and close. Ladies in breakfast room was nice and friendly.

Two night stay. No housekreeping services available as they said they were short staffed. Had to go to front desk for towels, water, extra coffees. Out of toilet paper so I called down and they did bring it up. Restaurant was closed on Wednesday (first night). Still charged resort fee. Thought place was a little run down and didn’t like not having room cleaned and beds made in morning Wouldn’t stay there again if I didn’t have to.

This place was so disappointing. The shower had a leak and dripped all night. Front desk said it would take hours to fix, so we had to suffer all night with the drip. . The bathtub was a retrofit and was installed incorrectly. When you stood in the shower it was difficult to maintain your balance. The toilet had a flushing issue. I would never recommend this place, and am quite upset about our experience staying here.

The location was perfect. Right in downtown. Indoor pool with outdoor deck viewing the Harbor was ideal for hanging out with friends.

It’s an old hotel without maintaining it and very dirty. I hope I don’t bring bedbugs home
