I didn’t mind the location however, I was very disappointed when I checked in and received a room overlooking the parking lot after being told, I was receiving a room overlooking the pool in the courtyard. I booked three rooms for three of my staff members and they both got rooms overlooking the courtyard but for some reason I didn’t get one when I asked about it I was told it would be $50 more money.

Fantastic Location IF* you want to be in the heart of the bourbon st district, and I mean the HEART. I’d recommend the interior balcony unless throwing beads at people is your goal. Pool was a great cool down on the hot days. Staff were great, wish they offered every day room clean/refresh. So much to walk to from here you couldn’t be disappointed. This review is regarding the second floor, interior balcony room. Definitely would stay again and recommend if you want these three things, 1-access to bourbon st. 2-access to waterfront/paddle boat/Café Du Monde and 3-Bars/tourist shops/music. Make the extra walk to Frenchman’s at for better music though, you won’t be disappointed.

I stayed in one of the rooms off of Toulouse Street with the balcony. The room was kinda small. The sink did not put out hot water. There was constant traffic throughout the entire night from the partying to delivery trucks and then the clean up in the morning. There was a shooting right outside the hotel one of the first nights we stayed. The food options were not very good and unhealthy. I felt like the kitchen and the pantry have items that are loaded with sugar. Most of the staff were nice, there were a couple who were not as friendly. Overall I wouldn’t want to stay on bourbon street again but if I did I would be willing to stay here again. I was pleased with the security the hotel provided.
