海冠套房酒店(Ocean Crest Inn and Suites)

Hotel is very run down. We decided to stay there because the price was great, but we saw roaches in our room and immediately got the heck out of there. The only good thing I can say is the girl at the front desk was very nice and gave us a refund. There were several bags of trash in the hallway which I'm sure doesn't help the roach situation. Its a shame that an oceanfront hotel is in such poor condition.

Hotel was run down on the inside. Past room remodels and repairs were shoddy at best. It was cheap and a place to stay for a quick get away, but I would not stay here again. The outside looks nice (at 50 feet!). We couldn't get them to supply us with new towels daily without going to the front desk and then they only gave us 2 at a time. The did no room service at all. This place needs a complete remodel or demolish and start over.

The floors were so filthy we couldn’t walk around without shoes on, patches of sheet rock mud filling holes in the wall, the hair dryer was falling off the wall, there was duct tape cover gaps between the balcony door and the wall, and the elevator shook and rattled like it was off its tracks or something.

WiFi doesn’t work. Numerous cockroaches in the room. Smoking on the balconies including pot. All these things seriously detracted from the beautiful ocean view.

Upon arrival, we found the smell on our room to be that of Raid or some form of bug spray. Everything had a sticky film and the mirrors were cloudy so we assumed they’d just bombed. Smelled horrible though, and then we went to turn the lights on and roaches scattered. They weren’t palmettos, those I do not mind. The staff was so kind and only charged us for the one night we stayed(we arrived after midnight and everywhere had already stopped allowing check ins), but refunded the rest of our reservation.

We were at the hotel ten minutes before we went to the hotel next door.

Pictures on the ******* app do not align with what they look like in person. I’ll take this disappointment and own up to it. The rooms where not clean, hair in the sink, bed, restroom towels. Walls on floor trimming around the door when also coming undone. Holes , patches. The pool was very dirty, even had a lay down chair in the pool. Next time I’ll stop by and look before booking, I was in the area for a quick day wanted to enjoy the best I could with an enexpensive room. Came across this one, and was very mislead. I’d stay inside my truck next time

This place just as the Polynesian hotel or the worst place to book any rooms. The rooms are not clean, there are roaches in the rooms. Didn’t stay not even an hour their and was told I would get a full refund for the “inconvenience” yet they lie about that. Don’t be fooled by the pictures on their site.

A “no frills” property that could use some updating. But clean, affordable, nice pool, and you can’t beat the view and the direct beachfront location!
