馬斯喀特香格里拉候森水療度假村(Shangri-La Al Husn Resort and Spa)

Staying at the Shangri La Al Husn Muscat has been one of the highlights of our time in the Middle East. We decided to go for my girlfriends birthday and the team worked exceptionally well with me to deliver a unforgettable experience. Getting to the Shangri La was a bit of a challenge and taxis do not come cheap in Oman. Though it was not challenging I do wish there was a pickup/drop off option for the guests. The inclusive breakfast was wonderful and ordering off the menu assured that everything you ordered stayed fresh. There was a mixup with our order due to a language barrier but the food was still phenomenal. The in room breakfast and room service was a highlight as it allowed you to take full advantage of the room and with the inbuilt heaters in the dining table assured the food stayed hot. The value for money on in room dining was disappointing as an order of a burger and fries came with a small amount of fries, however that was fixed with our next order. The afternoon tea was delicious, highlights being the fromage and watermelon and the scones. Each afternoon tea was different and kept the palate excited. The happy hour beverages were also included and always came with a suprise canapé from the restaurant. In terms of the staycation, it was perfect. The interior and exterior of the hotel is beautiful and the sound of the ocean left you relaxed for the stay. I would like to raise that there was a lot of sealife by the beach which deterred us from swimming in the sea as we had heard a lot about the Omani coast and didn’t have much confidence in the beach patrol and lifeguards there. We noticed some playing on their phones but they were always happy to assist taking a picture for the two of us. I would suggest a more upfront approach when it comes to what you can expect in the sea there. A visitors lounge was also available allowing you to take full opportunity of the facilities till you left for your next adventure.

Al Husn hotel has a great location and all the staff are extremely friendly and attentative. However, breakfast time can be a little chaotic due to lack of staff and many tables are left uncleared causing delays for person coming in for breakfast.

Hotel realmente meritevole delle cinque stelle assegnate. Perfetto sotto ogni aspetto: location sulla baia più bella della città di Muscat, architettura e arredi imponenti ed eleganti, spazi comuni enormi, camere grandissime ed elegantemente arredate, servizio di reception e in camera sempre attento e curato in ogni particolare, colazioni perfette ed estremamente varie sia nei buffet allestiti che nella scelta su carta, vari ristoranti con menù altrettanto raffinati e curati….insomma, proprio nessun particolare fuori posto…..un hotel che merita interamente il valore attribuitogli.

Seit 2014 sind wir nun schon zum 5. Mal für fast 3 Wochen im Al Husn. Das Resort mit seiner Traumlage bestätigt auch 2024 sein konstant hohes Niveau: Zimmer, allgemeiner Pflegezustand und Sauberkeit, Restaurants und Service sind erstklassig. Wir haben weltweit schon viele Hotels erlebt. Was wir hier erneut an exzellentem, großzügigem Service bis ins Detail erleben, ist schlichtweg überragend! Alle Mitarbeiter(innen) strahlen natürliche Herzlichkeit aus, sind stets hilfsbereit und geben jedem Gast das Gefühl, nur für ihn da zu sein. Wie wohl wir uns erneut im Al Husn fühlen, belegt am besten, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt vor Ort spontan um eine auf fast 4 Wochen verlängert haben! Leider können wir nicht alle namentlich erwähnen, unser besonders herzlicher Dank gilt: Ria Pe (Duty Manager). Samim (Room Attendant). Mahendra: Kümmerte sich mit überragendem persönlichen Engagement um jeden technischen und organisatorischen Aspekt des Housekeeping. Sheena und Prisca (Restaurant Sultannah): Spätestens nach deren herzlicher Begrüßung zum Frühstück freut man sich auf den Tag, maraming salamat! Shristee (Restaurant Bait Al Bahr), die wir bereits im November 2022 kennen- und schätzen lernten und die uns mit herzlichen Gesten und Aufmerksamkeiten wie gute Freunde empfing. Naushad (Restaurants Mahhara und Circles), verwöhnte uns stets mit besonderer Aufmerksamkeit. Palani u. Kollegen (private beach): Kein Weg war ihnen zu weit. Zimmer-Empfehlung: Panoramic sea view im 3. OG mit traumhaften Blick aufs offene Meer. Private Beach: Eine malerische Kulisse zum Träumen und Schnorcheln zwischen bunten Fischen und Schildkröten. Restaurants (soweit diesmal besucht): Sultannah: Hervorragendes Frühstücks- und Abendrestaurant Aangan: Indisches Restaurant mit Starkoch. Bait Al Bahr (Fischrestaurant): Romantisch gelegen, direkt am Strand, sehr leckerer, fangfrischer Fisch! Beach Restaurant Mahhara: Total relaxtes Setting mit traumhaftem Blick auf den private beach, leckere Speisen und Getränke. Poolrestaurant Al Muheet: Ebenso freundlicher Service, leckere kleine Speisen, Lage nicht ganz so spektakulär wie beim Mahhara. Circles: Pool-Restaurant im Al Bandar, relaxt, Pizza, Burger, Spaghetti und Co. Al Tanoor: Großes Restaurant mit wechselnden Themen-Buffets (allerdings wäre es hier wünschenswert, auch kleinere Speisen à la carte zu bekommen, da man nicht immer Appetit auf ein Riesenbuffet für 29 OMR pro Person (ca. 73 €) hat. Chow Mee: Asiatisches Restaurant mit gut gewürzten Speisen und natürlich ebenfalls sehr freundlichem Service. Capri Court (italienisches Restaurant): Gute Lage, netter Service, allerdings waren wir diesmal etwas enttäuscht von den eher langweilig und keineswegs typisch italienisch gewürzten Speisen. Piano Lounge: Trendy Bar im Al Bandar. Kritik: Die Preise in den Restaurants sind üppig, allerdings sind die Speisen meist von hoher Qualität. Vor allem alkoholische Getränke sind wohl auch durch staatliche „Strafsteuern“ auf Alkohol sehr hoch. Für

Très bel établissement sur la côte sud de Muscat dans un grand complexe hôtelier. Hôtel pour Adultes seulement avec un charme oriental une décoration extraordinaire. Vaste et confortable. Accueil souriant ce qui change de l’hôtellerie française service empressé rapide et efficace. Chambre très belles grandes confortables équipements fonctionnels et climatisation agissante Piscine et)kzbes privées prendre la demie pension car isolé mais vous avez accès à 5 restaurants avec le forfait pension attention les extra peuvent être onéreux Conseillé pour une clientèle calme et stylée on s’habille le soir pour dîner et cocktail. Espérons que l’établissement garde cette tradition et ce style d’une clientèle de qualité. Seul bémol pas de bureau des excursions ni de local dédié aux conseils touristiques. Présence à l’hôtel d’une manager française très efficace et serviable.

Шикарный отель, великолепный сервис. Прекрасные виды. Большие номера, бесплатный минибар с безалкогольными напитками и пивом. Очень вкусные завтраки. С 15-30-16-30 на террасе подают чай или кофе с необыкновенно вкусными десертами. С 18-19 коктейли и легкие закуски. Живая музыка, несколько ресторанов.. Все очень понравилось! Спасибо!

Nous avons passé 9 jours exceptionnels dans cet hôtel d'exception.Magnifique parenthèse de dépaysement pour nous qui venions de France à la recherche de soleil et de changement. L'ensemble du staff est extêmement gentil,attentionné,professionnel, Toutes les prestations sont de grande qualité. Nous tenons particuliérement à remercier Abhishek pour son travail parfait,Pankaj du restaurant le Sultanah ainsi que Mr Masoud El Djabri et Said pour leur disponibilité ,leur professionnalisme,dignes représentant des Omanais de leur gentillesse et de leur hospitalité. Nous n'oublierons pas Cylia pour sa fabuleuse attention pour notre anniversaire de mariage et sa gentillesse.
