Surprisingly decent for a Super 8 and the price point - the property was updated fairly recently, which really helped. However, the AC unit in our room did not work, making for an extremely uncomfortable night of (non)sleep.

My expectations for motels is pretty low. As long as it's a safe and clean place to sleep and has WiFi, I'm satisfied. That being said, AVOID THIS PLACE. - Pros: close to Ball State University, plenty of party, WiFi worked, waffle maker for breakfast, and lots of restaurants within walking distance. - Cons: When I arrived, the room smelt and felt like a swamp. There were even flies in the room. Also, the walls and floorboards are paper thin. The person next door sounded like they were doing construction throughout the night to the point that I only got 1 - 2 hours of sleep per night. The AC unit was extremely loud but that helped to provide white noise to drown out the noise from next door. However, the stomping and commotion next door caused by entire room to shake so I would literally be shaken awake when trying to sleep. The person next door was pushing against the wall, which caused the headboard of my bed to bang me in the head so I had to sleep at the foot of my bed. Other people would slam their doors and yell in the hallway. I've stayed in hostels that were better than this joke of a motel. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money to stay at a place that's more than a glorified cardboard box.

The room smelled of very, very strong cleaning products. Something with lemon and I think they had cleaned the mattress with the product. The air conditioner kept cycling on and off and was very loud and kept waking me. The bedding felt wet when I first checked in.

Closest hotel near my event in Muncie; and was able to get a great rate; clean and efficient is all i needed and this worked out fine for me. Would stay again.

generally clean. Definite residual odor of cigarette smoke in the hallway and room, plus a cleaner or air freshener to cover it. Unfortunately, I was allergic to both.

It was okay for a one night stay, but the rooms were clearly old (the ceramic in the bathroom sink was cracked and stained). Seemed to be the preferred staying place for truckers and such. It's not anti-family, but it had bachelor establishment vibes. Staff was super polite and friendly though.

When we arrived there was a very strong aroma of Chinese food throughout the whole first floor. Our toliet clogged after the first use and the desk gave us a plunger (didn’t offer any assistance). Other than that, it served the purpose of a place to rest.

Buy some new mattresses! If beds had been more comfortable I would have given a better rating. Also, staying at a cut rate place obviously means paper thin toilet paper and Kleenex. Not impressed but booked because people said it was nice place. Disagree.

Good for a one night stay. Prices are better than any other hotel in Muncie. Carpet could use a freshening up. Juice at breakfast broken/unavailable. Overall decent stay in good location.
