芒特沙斯塔小屋(LOGE Mt. Shasta)

Si lo pasamos bien, buen hotel, estamos contentos.

To start out, we got a room right above the shared bathrooms which didn’t feel the safest. Inside the room there was no working AC, it was very hot and the mesh on the windows was broken so we could even keep them open without bugs coming in. No shower gel in the bathroom and the water was going down very slowly. The hammock was nice however it could not be used since it’s right above the couch. The location is nice, but the parking was hard to find in the evening. I think this is a great hostel in the winter but as a hotel it is not the best.

Hotel didn’t have hot water. I took 2 luke warm showers at best. Three other members in my family had same experience. Front desk staff had 2 different takes. One said “it’s been a problem in the past” the other said “we’ve never had that issue” and offered nothing in compensation or solution. A real bummer since we skied every day. Otherwise the place was nice.

The bathrooms for dirty and moldy. The shower leaked at the shower head look like it was leaking behind the wall. There was pools of water behind. The toilet is black mold everywhere place gave me allergies to flare ups. The pillows were pretty gross. None of the sheets are coverings smelled like they've been cleaned

Gears towards mountain bikers and skiing. Clean, easily navigated set up for double queen. interesting rooms ! The hammock is a surprise. No clutter! Property is close to mt shasta town but completely isolated of city grunge. 5 min from snow in February. Wooden stairs on left of property need replacing. You can feel them give as you step upon them. I did not like EVERYTHING on email and having no hardcopy from the reservation desk. She couldnt even tell me what my total was cuz it was made thu 3rd party site. Res gal was nice. No breakfast?! Neat tent/ bike acloves for spring/ summer. Would like to try then.

It's a cross between a campground, hostel and hotel. No 24/7 staff. Hidden $25/day fee for "free" equipment rentals we would never use. No sheets or blankets for sofabed. We were told to find them in storage closets outside which didn't have them. No hammock in our room per photos. We were told it was broken and they never brought us one as promised. Heater was very loud. No vent in bathroom and window screen was torn. Leaky sink faucet in common area.

My family stayed at Loge Mt. Shasta for two nights and we had a very nice stay. The office/cafe staff were helpful, it was close to shopping and sledding with the kids. There was some trash left in some drawers so I am not sure how well the room got cleaned. We had 4 of us and there is one small couch to sit on that would fit two people. There is an office chair that could be used too, but having another place for people to sit would be nice. I rated it 5 stars because it was a nice stay for a good price.

Overall great and super clean! Definitely will stay here again on our next visit.

Great communication via text messages. Fun/cool environment and we enjoyed our stay.
