亨蒂旅館(The Henty)

Very clean motel. Friendly service at reception and close to town centre

The Henty claimed to provide free laundry facilities. There was only one washer and one dryer. The room they were in was barely large enough to move around inside. It was Disgustingly Dirty. The machines were very dirty as well. They did not provide laundry soap. The dryer didn't work at all. My clothes never dried, even though I put them through the dryer twice. The washer ruined my brand new (never warn) dress. It left purple mold marks all over my cream dress, even though I only washed it with white clothing. I've never been able to get the mold out. Nor has my dry cleaner. The property in on a very busy road so it can be laud if you are booked into a room close to the road. The restaurant has good food but is overpriced.

Enjoyed our family overnight stay although systems were down when we arrived so our room key didn’t work at first and nor did the wifi connection. Other than thi a bad luck it was a lovely and on-site dining was wonderful!

The room was spacious with a nice couch Great comfy bed Bathroom was very spacious huge shower Good price WIFI was as good as useless would not pick up in room .outside door YES step inside GONE Two lights on the wall were NOT working .And one was failing of the wall duly reported to reception

Stayed here 2 nights as part of a 4 night getaway from Melbourne - not been here for years and looking to re-visit and explore new areas - Motel was comfortable and basically clean - supplied fridge was tiny but worked okay - minimal traffic noise - lots of pubs etc close by and a restaurant on the premises - beautiful town with heaps to see - not disappointed at all - Port mcDonnell about 20 mins away really nice coastal town - SA is a beautiful state and Mout Gambier has heaps to offer - would stay here again.

We stayed at the Henty in room 29 for 3 nights. There were a few issues such as hot water sink tap don’t work. Bed side table light on the right side don’t work. There were dead Mosquitoes on the ceiling and the bathroom. It was pretty gross. The sliding doors to the fridge does not glide smoothly hence it was hard trying to get to the cutlery and fridge. We mentioned to the front desk that their WIFI isn’t working and they said to try in an hour and it was still wasn’t working. We gave up and didn’t bother asking anymore. Location was ideal for our stay and the receptionist as well as restaurant was good.

The property is located walking distance to centre of town. It has run down over time but it is comfortable and rooms are decent.
