摩根温德姆酒店(Hotel Morgan a Wyndham Hotel)

This was a great hotel. Close to everything, easy check in and out, clean, and most of all - the staff was incredible. Very kind throughout the stay.

Our visit to the historic Hotel Morgan was relaxing, easy, and the location is quite convenient. The staff were helpful and efficient. The rooms are comfortable. Our only recommendations would be to include an iron.

Stayed here for a campus tour. We reserved the Suite so that we could have our own room and our daughter could have the living room. Room was more than enough space, it was super clean (which is HUGELY important to me) and had everything we needed. We were greeted by valet and check in staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Room has a Lavazza coffee maker with pods and coffee mugs. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent. Gorgeous hotel with wonderful rooms. Bed and bath are very nice. Lounge in the lobby is pretty cool too.

Great hotel, great stay, however I was double charged for my one night stay. I will be contacting the hotel to reverse the charges.

Hotel is fine. Valet parking or metered lot nearby (where you have to keep adding funds). Complimentary Coffee in lobby was empty at 9 am Walkable to waterfront wharf area & riverfront park are highlights.

The hotel was amazing, the renovations were beautiful and we felt things were clean and new. The only thing we didn't like in the room was there was no area in the bathroom to put our toiletries. Staff was also amazing, friendly and available at all times. We didn't like that they made valet mandatory and it was difficult trying to get our car due to an event at the hotel one evening and the street being blocked off another night due to a local event. Also, the hotel restaurant was closed so we couldn't get breakfast which was disappointing. We would definitely stay here again!

To start, the location is not ideal. There are no actual restaurants nearby, only bars and pubs. When we were there, a wedding reception was in the lobby so anytime we needed to come or go, we had to walk through a bunch of people crammed in there. The valet parking was convenient and fairly priced. The water pressure in the shower was absolutely horrible...it was slightly better than a trickle. We turned the heat on and set off the smoke detector. We went down to the lobby with all the wedding guests to speak to the front desk about this issue which was responded to first by telling me that the smoke detector would stop after 10 minutes to which i replied with a not so kind comment that i wasn't going to listen to that for 10 minutes. The attendant sent a maintenance person up immediately after our conversation who cleaned the filter and fixed the problem...no more smoke alarm. The room is decent sized and clean, but there is no microwave, extra pillows or blankets in the room. We couldn't even find an ice machine on our floor. We had to request toilet paper because there were 2 rolls in the room, but one had about 1/10 of a roll and the other had about 1/4 of a roll and there was no extra in the room. Overall, the room was clean, the valet parking was convenient and the lobby is pretty. Other than that, i have nothing positive to say about my stay. I expected better at this price point.

Valet parking required by the hotel (presumably because the area is unsafe as Morgantown is overrun with a growing homeless and drug problem). However, upon arrival around 9 PM we were told the valet was not there that evening and we had to park on our own and walk back to the hotel. Highly recommend arriving at this hotel before dark. I've not seen homelessness and a sense of desperation on the streets this bad outside of downtown Los Angeles. Next we arrive in our room. It was supposed to be non-smoking but had a smell of smoke. The smell was faint as if previously people had smoked in this room and maybe the hotel designated it a non-smoking room at a later point in history. But, the smoke still lingers in the carpet or other furnishings. It's faint...but, if you're sensitive to smoke you will notice. The bed was comfortable. The shower was wonderful! The staff were all very nice. The hotel has a beautiful ballroom and a nice set up of coffee/tea in the morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Just arrive before dark and be careful outside the hotel.
