聖胡安比尼賽達鄉村酒店(Hotel Rural Sant Joan de Binissaida)

El hotel EXCELENTE!!! Súper tranquilo. Los trabajadores de 10 y el restaurante increíble. El trato es inmejorable. Me ha enamorado este hotel. Las habitaciones muy silenciosas. El lugar es el increíble para desconectar. Por poner una pega el bar de la piscina con el tema de los cocteles flojete.

No vayais tarde al restaurante porque no es lo mismo. Habíamos ido varias veces pero esta vez al ir a última hora todo cambió. Para empezar, no nos trajeron el pan con aceite tan bueno que hacen allí, nos dijeron que uno de los segundos que queríamos no lo tenían, los entrantes vinieron a medio hacer: la berenjena con burrata en vez de ser una berenjena grande con un poquito de burrata como ha sido siempre (y sigue siendo porque así lo vi en Instagram hace 15 días) vino como un plato lleno de mozarella y 4 mini trocitos de berenjena; y los cogollos a la brasa con queso de mahon vinieron sin brasa ni queso, directos de la nevera con la salsa y 4 tomatitos. No puedo entender que cojan reservas tarde si la calidad de los platos baja tanto; o no se coge la reserva o al menos te disculpas cuando te lo comentan, que a nosotros nos dijeron que ahora los platos eran así... Cosa que espero que sinceramente no sea asi porque entonces no volveremos más. De hecho, con esta experiencia nos costará volver, y mira que íbamos mucho.

Je viens de séjourner cinq jours à l’hôtel Sant Joan de Binissaida. J’ai trouvé cet hôtel un peu par hasard, mais quelle découverte. Sur le principe de l’agritourismo, l’hôtel est confidentiel avec ses 15 chambres. Quelques chambres (traditionnelles) sont dans la maison principales et le reste dans une extension, chambres assez modernes avec terrasses. L’insonorisation de la porte permettant de rendre les chambres communicantes pourrait être amélioré. Le domaine agricole de plusieurs dizaines d’hectares permet des ballades au milieu des oliviers. La piscine de belle taille (18x11) permet de se reposer tranquillement. Au niveau restauration, du petit dejeuner au diner en passant par le dejeuner a l’ombre des pins c’est un voyage dans les saveurs esapgnoles avec de nombreux plats aux produits issus du domaine. Enfin le personnel est d’une gentillesse et d’une attention rarement vue, avec simplicité efficacité et discrétion. Un seul regret : avoir dû en partir !

Saint Joan de Binissaida is a lovely agriturismo just outside Mahon. We booked the Wagner suite with its large terrace overlooking the glorious countryside and hoped for a warm, relaxed few days. But this notion was shattered when we saw the building works immediately opposite, which we had not been advised of, even upon check-in. A large crane arrived on the first morning and there was loud, constant noise all day, not just from the works, but from the builders themselves shouting amongst each other. It was truly awful, and very stressful. Thankfully, the third day was a public holiday and so we managed to have just one enjoyable, relaxing day. As for the restaurant, again, a beautiful setting. But for the first 2 nights many items on the menu were not available, apparently ‘as it is the end of the season’ - yet miraculously, there was a fuller menu available on our last night?! BIzarre! The rice dish with squid and prawns at Euros50 was absurd - there were just 2 or 3 prawn heads in it, no actual prawns (!)and it was so salty we could not even eat it! One evening we had to wait 40 minutes to get a cocktail at the poolside bar as the bar person was late for her shift..….. Most of the staff were very charming and helpful, but overall the whole experience was disappointing and amateurish. For the sake of one week (which it turns out it was), it seemed crazy that the hotel could not have liaised with their neighbours and agreed to start the building works once the hotel had closed. All of the above was relayed to the hotel staff at the time. It is such a shame that what could have been a magical break, turned out to be the complete opposite.

What a disappointment. There were only 2 courses on the meat section the others being unavailable. The oddest thing is that both of these came with crisps no vegetables. When this was queried we were told the crisps were chips. No atmosphere and grumpy staff.

It's in the middle of nowhere so it is quiet environment. Staff are friendly and kind. The food is good. However, the walls are very thin and we could hear the next door guest playing games which was stopped when we complained. And when we were bitten by mosquitoes they provided with repellents and calming spray. So the staff are there to help us. But they cannot help when our sleep is disturbed by the next door guest's snoring, or leaving in early morning. Our sleep was not great. Otherwise it's a nice place. There is a pool as well.

We are delighted with our stay at this lovely quaint pretty hotel. Everything is very simple and extremely organized, as well as very tasteful. I have never seen staff members that work so hard all day with a smile in this heat. There is an enormous amount of attention paid to every detail. The staff is extremely nice and each one of them are excellent at problem solving. We could not have chosen a better place. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious. Everything they cook is local produce either from their own gardens or near by neighbors. We are sad to leave.
