We drive from Houston to Oberlin,Ohio and back, and this hotel is convenient because Memphis is our first leg of the journey and the property is near the freeway. Easy off and easy on. My only complaint is that after we checked out of the hotel, I noticed that I had left my favorite Polo shirt hanging in the closet, and so I immediately contacted the hotel lost and found when we got in to Oberlin that night. I made a report with hotel lost and found. I never heard back from them, and when I called back the next morning,nobody had documented my report or turned my shirt in to lost and found. The only people in that room after we left were hotel cleaning staff. After 2 days in Oberlin, we again stayed here on our way back to Houston, and I personally checked in with the front desk, and there was nothing turned in and nobody knew what I was talking about. I hate that this one bad experience altered my view of this property. I appreciated the clean and comfortable room, and the restaurant remaining open till 10 p.m. I had a nice 12 oz. ***** steak that was tender and cooked perfectly medium rare with 2 ice cold Stellas, and yet the only thing I will remember is losing my favorite shirt.
