桑布魯無敵豪華帳篷營地酒店(Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp)

Ein wunderschöner Standort, um den Samburo Nationalpark zu erkunden. Schon die Ankunft am frühen Nachmittag war traumhaft. Die Begrüßung war herzlich, das ganze Team stellte sich vor. Die offene Holzkonstruktion strahlte vom ersten Augenblick Gemütlichkeit aus. Wir hatten nicht damit gerechnet, dass alles offen ist, man freien Blick auf den Fluss und in den Busch hat. Der Weg zu unserem Zelt war schon ein Erlebnis. Mitten in der Natur. Von der Terrasse blickt man wieder auf den Fluss, große Bäume säumen das Ufer. Das Zelt stellte sich als überraschend geräumig und fast luxuriös heraus. Tolles Himmelbett mit Moskitonetz, erstaunlich großer Badbereich - einfach, aber zweckmäßig und funktional. Der Service und das ganze Personal waren einfach spitze. So freundlich, interessiert und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat uns umgehauen. Niemals haben wir mit einem 4-Gang-Menü gerechnet, das auch noch so extrem lecker und auf dem Teller toll angerichtet war. Was uns ganz besonders gut gefallen hat, waren die abendlichen Kurzvorträge von Steve zum Thema Tiere und Kultur. Damit ist uns der Nationalpark und der Samburo-Stamm ans Herz gewachsen. Anschließende Fragen und Gespräche machten diese Kurzevents zum Erlebnis. Jederzeit würden wir uns hier wieder einquartieren, das Camp mit seinem liebenswerten Personal ist absolut zu empfehlen. Wir haben die 3 Nächte hier sehr genossen und haben uns wie Freunde, nicht wie Gäste gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank für diese wunderbare Erfahrung.

Ich war im Februar für vier Nächte im Intrepids und werde die Zeit dort nie vergessen. Der Samburu ist seit meiner ersten Safari in 2017 mein absoluter Lieblingspark in Kenia aufgrund seiner vielen einzigartigen Tiere, die man nur hier sieht. Und da es in den letzten Jahren schwierig war, auf der Samburu Seite ein Camp zu finden, war ich sehr glücklich, jetzt hier unterkommen zu können. Und meine Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt und nach vier Nächten war ich sehr traurig, weiterziehen zu müssen, obwohl auch der Rest meiner Safari großartig war. Gerade als Alleinreisende möchte man sich in einem Camp sicher und gut aufgehoben fühlen und das ist hier überhaupt kein Problem! Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Die Zelte sind wunderschön und das Bett megabequem. Auch ansonsten gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Das einzige, was man wissen sollte, ist, dass es sehr lange dauert, bis man warmes Wasser bekommt. Aber wenn man Geduld hat, kommt es. Versprochen! Ich habe allerdings aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen eh meist kalt geduscht. Dank Hussein und seinem Team kam man auch bei Dunkelheit immer sicher an seinem Zelt an und vom Zelt weg, da man auf jedem Weg begleitet wird. Sehr professionell und höflich! Vor allem Hussein liebt seinen Job, gibt einem viele Informationen und hat mich nach einem Gamedrive abgefangen, um mir eine Eule im Baum zu zeigen. Die Lage des Camps ist gut und der Restaurantbereich hat ein besonderes Flair, gerade abends bei Kerzenschein. Das Essen ist gut, auch die Frühstücksboxen, das Personal freundlich und geht auf Wünsche ein. Zum Valentinstag gab es eine Rose und Pralinen, aber umgehauen hat mich die Überraschung, die mir das Küchenteam am letzten Abend bereitet hat! Ein mega Dankeschön an Cleo und sein Team!!! Ihr habt mein Herzen schmelzen und die Tränen rollen lassen mit dieser Aktion!!! Ich habe mich in dieses Camp und seine freundlichen Mitarbeiter verliebt und würde immer wieder dorthin reisen. Vielen, vielen Dank nochmal an alle für eine ungesslich tolle Zeit!!! Ich vermisse euch alle!!!

Such a magic place! Immediately when we arrived I got so relaxed and felt like this was a little paradise. Lovely tents that had beautiful interior decor, a great pool and magical restaurant with delicious food. But most of all - the staff was outstanding. Victor in the restaurant made every meal special, it was such a pleasant experience and we could sit there for hours, Steve, who was a Samburu, gave an interesting presentation about the Samburus and answered all our questions with such a warmth, and my daughter tried to learn how to shoot bows and arrows with him. During our whole trip around Kenya and Zanzibar - this was absolutely the best place that we stayed at. The people are in my heart, and the environment and the comforting feeling that all of the staff gave us. During the dark evenings they accompanied us to and from our tents with flashlights, making every moment safe. The only problem with Intrepids Samburu was that I didn't want to leave! Me, my daughter and our friend will definitely come back to this place!

Most beautiful experience I've had in a Lodge!!! The location, ambience and staff are top notch! The Menus for breakfast,lunch and dinner are well thought of the food is tasty and service is out of this world. I really enjoyed my stay. The Rooms and activities really made our stay beautiful! We also got to interact with the local community which was beautiful to say the least!

We had the best time staying here! The park itself is absolutely wonderful, so much wildlife EVERYWHERE. And the Intrepids Tented Camp was such a wonderful surprise. We weren’t sure what to expect, but it definitely delivered! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. A very special shout out to Kleo, Rosa and Nuno. These three were especially attentive and it was great talking to them and getting to know them. So peaceful in this area, waking up to the river and seeing little monkeys and donkeys and birds galore! Just…wow!

This was a true five star experience! The location is great by the river, the lodge is cozy and clean. The tents are impressively luxurious and clean. The food tasted very well and the service is amazing! Everyone in the staff is kind and service minded. I would recommend everyone travelling with kids to go here, because ours loves to spend time with Steve in the Young Rangers Club, learning to shoot bow and arrows and make traditional Samburu bracelets. Another perk is that the lodge offers information sessions in the evenings during which you can enjoy a cocktail and learn about the wildlife and culture.

Hospitality at it's best, very hospitable and professional personnel, delicious, sumptuous meal's the tented camps are so beautiful, Clean comfortable and the environment here is out of this world, The best hospitality manager I have ever met thank you manager Kevin 👏👏👏

Un séjour très agréable dans ce superbe lodge, dorlotés par un personnel très attentif et toujours disponible. Une mention particulière pour le chef qui nous a régalé de plats non seulement délicieux mais superbement présentés. A ne pas manquer!

Our time at Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp was fantastic! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, just wanted to say special thank you to Kevin, he was always willing to go out of his way to make our stay special! He arranged for an appearance of the Samburu tribe to perform for us on our last night after dinner, I will never forget how special that performance was!! Steve was very informative teaching us about his tribe and the animals around the Samburu reserve. The tent was like glaming, river in the front with hippopotamus, we heard wild dogs, hyenas, baboons at night… we were pretty safe with an electrical fence around the tents.. lots of highlights especially the game drives early mornings and evenings.. I would recommend Samburu Intrepids in a heartbeat!! The people are amazing!!
