西恩納洛奇酒店(Sienna Lodge)

Stayed for 2 nights in April 2024 at Sienna Lodge. Two couples with a room each. Location was great just up the road from Smiths beach and Canal Rocks. We had the rooms at the rear of the property overlooking the gardens. Checking in was very smooth and the owners were a pleasure to speak to. Rooms were both a good size with big comfortable beds. All facilities were exceptional, and the room was very clean. Good pressure in the shower. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 2 nights and will definitely visit again.

This property is ok but definitely not exceptional. Only a microwave and kettle available. The shower took forever to get hot water thru and was hard to then adjust to a nice temperature, when I finally did get it adjusted the hot water ran out and i had to wash in cold. I live with tank water so have fast showers to conserve water. This was hopeless. The letter with check in instructions does not have any welcome or well wishes for an enjoyable stay, then threatens extra charges if you should leave a cup unwashed - rude. The only place to wash dishes was in the bathroom sink less than a metre from the toilet. As a health auditor I can assure you that trusting guests to wash food utensils in a bathroom sink is NOT hygienic nor is it recommended. Never saw a staff member once in four days. I choose this as a base for four days visiting the Margaret River Open Studio Annual Art Trail and the location was great. I can HIGHLY recommend the art trail, which was an opportunity to explore back roads visiting artists properties, so as a bonus you see their house and gardens too.

The room was clean and appointed as described. The bottle of wine was a nice touch and communication online was prompt and pleasant, but we were disappointed that we did not get to see any reception staff or the owner once while staying there. The house has very thin walls and we were woken in the middle of the night by an alarm next door and then again at 6 am by loud music playing. Had to knock on the door for it to stop, which it did. Also, breakfast places next door don't open till 9.30 am and 10 am.

Really cute little place with simple, comfortable rooms. No restaurants within hotel site, but Lavendar Farm and Barnyard next door. Plan to go out for breakfast and dinner Lovely gardens to enjoy a picnic, chill or to just walk

I liked that we had a tea house and another restaurant dining next door. Location was convenient.

It was OK, quiet location, would consider staying there again.

The property is old world, so lacks modern amenities but has a casual charm. It’s grounds are really beautiful. The garden’s well maintained and there’s a dam so birds a plenty. It’s next door to Barnyard which has lovely sculptures. It’s rather cold, particularly the bathroom with no heating. There’s no staff at the property so no personal check in, all done remotely. But, depending on which room you get, it’s peaceful and mostly quiet.”

Great room, comfy bed and view from room to gardens and lake is superb.Awesome Lavender Cafe next door. Highly recommend.

The room was adequate for our 2 nights stay. The lighting in the Voyager room was a little dull The kettle made the water for my coffee taste terrible and request to wash the dishes we used was a bit tricky in the bathroom sink with no plug.
