金斯利汽車旅館(Manjimup Kingsley Motel)

An aged motel that has been tastefully refurbished. Rooms are generally clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable too. I took the cabin room with a single bed as I was travelling alone. On a hindsight I should have taken a bigger room. Lots of parking which was good. Pretty confident that this is one of the better choices for accommodation at Manjimup.

Scrupulously Clean, tidy and well kept, we had a good quiet night in. The gardens were lovely. The bed was very good. Passed the fidget test, haha. Bathroom towels were luxurious and HUGE. Very pleased we got a proper “motel” room where we parked the car at our door. We had thought to get a steak at the restaurant but sadly it was booked out “private function” by a corporate mob who had employees staying there. That made us initially anxious about noise and bad behaviour but these employees were quiet and NOT party animals so all was well. The employees even left the restaurant with huge doggie bags so the food must be good. We had an issue with the electronic check in thingy but I think it was user error (us, lol) and a call to the after hours number on the door got us a code to get a key. We were able to check in and out without seeing a human receptionist which was a little sad, but very efficient.

I had read a great review in the Travel Section of The West Australian newspaper and so 9 ladies decided to have a weekend in Manjimup. Yes the motel is old, but they've done a great job with the refurbishment. I loved the comfortable mattresses. The owners and staff are lovely and very helpful and it has one of the best restaurants, food wise anyone could wish for. This motel and restaurant is certainly worth a visit, but note the restaurant is not open on the weekend. We stayed Friday night so we could go to the restaurant and Saturday night we had dinner in town.

I booked directly with the Kingsley Motel, and found it very handily located on the outskirts of Denmark. There’s a pub next door, but I never heard any noise from them. The room was spacious, with a designated combined living / dining / kitchen area, and a separate bedroom with ensuite. Staff service was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. For the price and location, you can’t got past staying here.

The Kingsley Motel was clean, comfortable and made for a good nights rest on recent work trip. Rooms have been renovated and were clean. Bed was comfortable and linen nice quality. I called up to ask of room had microwave, it didn’t, but reception said one could be placed in there for my stay. Seemed pretty busy with mix of business, construction contractors and leisure travellers. On edge of Manji town, but easy walk in path (walk path across road). Restaurant on-site but didn’t try.

Nice stay at Kingsley Motel. An aging Motel that has been tastefully updated. Clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely restaurant and bar, with good food and a well stocked bar. Staff very accomodating and friendly. A little bit of a walk into town.
