Great hotel. Food is good and on-site amenities are excellent.

I was collected from the airport by a friendly hotel driver and transported in comfort 30mins to the hotel. On arrival I was welcomed by friendly door men and escorted to check in. The ladies on check in were fabulous. Very friendly and welcoming and the whole process was nice and easy. I was presented with a delicious welcome drink and they generously afforded me a refill. Once in my room it was comfortable and spacious with a big king size bed, all the necessary amenities incl. Iron and ironing board, slippers, bathroom, bathroom amenities and tea/coffee station as well as stocked mini bar. I had a relaxing deep bath but have to say I'm still surprised these luxury hotels have now removed bath salts or bubble bath from the rooms, it's a real shame as having a relaxing bubble bath at the end of a busy day really is a delight. The gym opens 5am and is used by guests and members alike. It was quite busy but not so bad you couldn't train, there's plenty of kit and cardio machines for everyone. The gym is well kitted out and split into different spaces, mixed main area, mixed weights section and a female only space. There's a beautiful spa, I'd love to spend time here for leisure as well next time so I can use the facilities properly. Breakfast was a very nice spread, all buffet but ample choice with delicious pastries, waffles and pancakes, cooked options, fruits and cereals. You definitely won't go hungry or lacking choice. Fresh eggs are made on demand. I went around 7:30am and it was empty, perhaps one or two other guests. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive.. great cappuccino! They even made me one to take away, fabulous thoughtful service, it's these little touches that elevate a hotel from 5* to luxury in my opinion. All in all I didn't really get to experience much of this hotel as my visit was quick in and out for work, but what I did experience was fabulous. Highlights: excellent gym, delicious array of breakfast options and friendly, attentive staff To be aware of: you can hear people in the corridors at night but it wasn't so bad it kept me awake, bed pillows were too soft for me (but this is personal preference and I'm sure the hotel would have changed them if I'd asked) the free wifi is no where near the standard of service you'd expect from a luxury 5* hotel and no bath salts or bubble bath in the room

I have been to 3 Ritz Carlton's in the Middle East. Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Dubai. Bahrain is my favorite due to the facility and excellent care. Unfortunately, I was not happy with the responsiveness of a reported incident because my husband and I were put in an unsafe position. On Nov. 3, my husband and I attended a Halloween event. Our girls attended at 3 PM, but grew tired. They went upstairs with the nanny to rest and my husband and I decided to go back to the Halloween event for the Haunted House and photos. When we arrived, we heard a boy shout in the bouncy house, "F you N-Word." We do not know if he was shouting at us or at other children. However, I went to report it to 2 Ritz employees. They said it was okay because the boy ran away. I asked were they going to do something and they did not respond. After they did nothing, my husband and I went to the photo booth. There the boy's mom verbally accosted us. We told her to remove herself from our space and then the lady started talking about our children who were not even there. Once again, I reported the boy who said the N-word and his mom to a man who said he was over security at the Ritz-his name was Ram. He again responded nonchalantly and told us to go to the front desk. We made the report to the front desk and I explained that due to the lack of responsiveness from the Ritz, I would write about this in a review. Had the initial incident been responded to with care, my husband and I would not have been approached by an unruly, irrational woman. A child saying the N-word is the result of him being brought up in a hate filled home, but the trained adults from Ritz Carlton who did not care to respond accordingly are the real culprits. Thank you for the 2 managers who responded after I had to report this 3 times before being properly acknowldged or assisted by the Ritz Carlton staff. Thankfully, I have stayed at the Bahrain Ritz before and I know they are genuinely good service people. The chef and Anthony at the Plume restaurant were amazing. Athul was great at breakfast and truly everyone we encountered with the exception of the 3 men I reported the racial slur too, were great.

Rooms are dated unless you get the club room. Mistreatment by staff was reported to the front desk manager who refused to take accountability and apologize. Take your money elsewhere, there are other options in Bahrain with better service and treatment of ALL paying customers.

We were Nine cousins stayed for one night at several rooms at The Ritz- Carlton, Bahrain. Hotel is very clean. We enjoyed our stay. We spent most of our time enjoying the swimming pool and relaxing at hotel lobby. Hotel lobby and swimming pool staffs contributed to the relaxing atmosphere we had by continuously, with a smile, offering and providing menu items until late night. We enjoyed buffet breakfast. In general, hotel staff is friendly and professional. Different restaurants, gym and small shops are available at the ground floor. Thanks to Waleed who works at the front desk of the Swimming Pool, Sreejesh Meethal, Pau Yatco, Hussain Alghanim and Salman Khan. We will stay again at this hotel.

زرت الفندق اكثر من مره وما زال هو الافضل اتمنى يستمرون بهذا المستوى الراقي الموقع والخدمه ومستوى الاكل والمشروبات مميزه المكان شرح ويفتح النفس مع ان فيه ناس لكن تحس انك في مكان مرررررريح جدااااا وتنوع الاماكن عندهم يخليك تحتاااااار في اختيار المكان الي بتجلس فيه

I am just writing this comment to appreciate and thank Ms. Jel who is working in the reception in Ritz Carlton Bahrain who was very kind and responive. We had an issue and she ensured to resolve it and make sure we didnt leave the hotel unhappy. She should be really appreciated for her efforts.
