獵豹岬華麗海灘度假村及水療中心(The Kasa Malindi - 'Formerly Leopard Point Beach Resort')

Quando si va in vacanza in un posto come Malindi , quello che si cerca è un posto che ti dia pace e che ti faccia stare bene ! Il Leopard resort è stato questo per me per 10giorni. Posto delizioso, con la discesa al mare direttamente dal ristorante . Personale cortese e super disponibile. Hanno sempre cercato di accontentare ogni nostra richiesta (un giorno sono andati appositamente al mercato per comprare l’avocado per il nostro guacamole 😂 !) . Camere comode ,spaziose e pulite . Buon cibo . Purtroppo non abbiamo usufruito dei servizi della spa , ma perché onestamente ho preferito il mare e il sole del Kenya al lettino della spa . Se ci ritornerei ??? Si , decisamente si!

We were a group of 20 people celebrating a milestone birthday. We arrived with great expectations. Beautiful location. Mildred who served us through the 3 days was wonderful. The rest of of the stay including the celebratory dinner was a disaster. It took 2 hours for all our guests to be served. At one point one of our guests got so frustrated, literally went into the kitchen to cook for his hungry son!! The portions were so pathetic that we had to order more food to supplement. Some of the rooms bathrooms flooded into the bedrooms and out onto the lounge. Some bathrooms had no hot water. On the day of the checkout The Italian manager/director brought his guests into our villa to Hv a conversation with his personal guests!!! All in all a horrible experience and would never return.

A disaster! dirty hotel, service tragic, in addition, they deceptively change the standard of rooms to a lower one for a higher price. The booking you make for a specific room type turns out to be valid only on the day of booking. As you drive over, you get a 3x worse room for the same price, because of course there is no question of a return. They rob customers and cheat. The customers next to us were treated in exactl8y the same way, but they didn't speak English and they had no way to argue, so on each day they were robbed of $ 300 and ordered to pay for a cup of water and a cup of coffee. Everything is old, neglected and the level of disregard for the client is level hard. Avoid the distans arc completely !!! The actual level is max 2 **, service level - no scale! Katastrofa! hotel brudny, serwis tragiczny, dodatkowo podstępnie zamieniają standard pokoi na niższy za wyższą cenę. Rezerwacja, którą robisz na konkretny typ pokoju okazuje sie, że działa tylko w dniu rezerwacji. Jak przejeżdżasz dostajesz 3x gorszy pokój za tę samą cenę, bo oczywiście ma juz mowy o zwrocie. Okradają klientów i oszukują. Obok nas klienci dokładnie tak samo zostali potraktowani, ale nie mówili po angielsku i nie mieli jak sie wykłócić, wiec na każdej dobie okradziono ich 300$, a kazano placic potem za kubek wody i filizanke kawy. Wszystko stare, zaniedbane i poziom lekceważenia klienta - level hard. Absolutnie omijać dalekim łukiem!!! Poziom faktyczny to max 2**, poziom obslugi - brak skali!

Luxury sólo hace referencia al enclave donde está situado, a nada más. Me fui de allí sin saber que es lo que incluía realmente mi reserva de 6 días con spa y desayuno incluido en habitación con vistas al mar. El mar estaba allí, lo de verlo es otra cosa. No es buffet así q pasaras 6 días desayunando lo mismo, tortilla a la que llaman "spanish" pero que es francesa, loncha y media de beicon, 1 salchicha, bol fruta variada, te o café y un plato variado con trozos de bizcocho. Hay una carta pero si la usas ya tienes que pagar. La información fue confusa desde el primer momento, el primer miembro del staff con el que tratamos nos indicó que las 4 bebidas, las 2 bolsas de patatas y la de frutos secos, las podíamos consumir sin coste.La segunda nos indico que todo era bajo coste y que lo único que era free eran las bolsitas de té y café, el agua era bajo pago también. Después de personarme en recepción el agua era gratis y pasamos a tener según él día, 1, 2 o ninguna botella, botellas que están abiertas, por tanto rellenadas. No facilitan ningún tipo de atención en el cuarto de baño, sólo un dispensador que rellenan de gel, champú y gel de manos. La alcachofa de la ducha pierde agua por todos los sitios ya que la mitad de los agujeros por la que el agua sale están bloqueados por la cal. Me di un masaje pensando que era parte del spa incluido y lo tuve que pagar el último día, el spa incluido es para el gym de 4 maquinas y 1 jacuzzi. Proteste y en vez de pagar los 9000 shilling, me lo dejaron en la mitad. Las toallas de la piscina tendrás que pedirlas ya que nunca están a la hora de apertura. Muy buena conexión a internet.Dispone de una piscina común emana y otras tb pequeñas para cada bungaló. La recepción estaba sin atención muchas veces y una vez estuve cerca de tener que saltar la valla ya que no habrían la puerta. La playa no vale para nada, incómoda, sucia y pequeña. Después de poner este comentario en la web donde hice la reserva me entró un correo por la web de reserva por la que me indicaban que cancelaban mi suscripción a los correos de Leopard Luxury…., bueno, pude superarlo. Creo que el lugar es increíble pero la gestión es lamentable.

Had one of the most disappointing experiences with Kasa. First of all the rooms looked nothing like the photos on booking websites. No paintings, TVs, no hair dryers, and everything painted white so it looked a bit like a hospital room. We had no running water whatsoever 2 mornings in a row. There were also rolling electricity blackouts. Communication from the staff was poor. Service was extremely slow. For example it took 1 hour and repeated chases to get 2 coffees. The menu was limited and many of the options were unavailable. We asked the reception to book us a table at a very popular restaurant the next day. They agreed but told us in the morning it was closed until further notice, but when we called ourselves it was open. The managers acknowledged all of the issues we’ve had but refused to issue even a partial refund since we paid 4 stars and received significantly less. They instead offered a free dinner which we declined. Instead of taking ownership of the faults, management kept blaming the local staff for supposedly being incompetent, and local utilities companies for lack of water or electricity. Long story short, since Leopard Point became Kasa, very poor management has ruined the quality of the service. There are many other hotels in Malindi that are less expensive and more accommodating (eg White Elephant), would not recommend the Kasa. Otherwise Malindi is beautiful, nice beaches, warm weather. Just pick a different hotel or airbnb.

We were excited about our stay with my 11-year-old niece. Mildred, who served us was wonderful. Firstly, they put a child in a different villa along with other adults. We had to check out urgently the next day, and we charged for the nights we spent with the promise of a redeemable voucher for the non-refundable balance. It took more than 2 weeks for management to approve the said voucher, In the end, they could not offer us a voucher for the balance. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Amazing experience. The welcoming from Stefano and team was awesome. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was good and facilities, gym and spa, nicely spec'd. The turtle watching was an added bonus, seeing them every high tide. There are a variety of areas to sit and relax. Meals can be arranged at your villa or any of the 3 eating areas. Only comment to acknowledge, be reminded that this is not a swimming beach.

I really enjoyed my experience visiting Leopard Point. From the moment we landed at the airport, Mercy from the reception notified us that a driver was waiting. As promised, Herman was holding a sign in a crisp white shirt, greeted us very warmly and helped us with our luggage. The van had air conditioning and he offered us cold water and music. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the General Manager Stefano and Mercy, and it was one of the best check in experiences by far! Welcome drinks were ready, our luggage was whisked away discreetly and we didn't have to go through the annoying hullabaloo of filling out endless long forms. The resort is absolutely stunning, from the minimalist and elegant architecture, to the vibrant whites and pinks of the abundant flairs and the beautifully blue pools and extra comfy lounges. No attention to detail has been spared when designing this space. The constant calming music from discreet speakers was one of the other best parts for me. We were well looked after and every meal was a delight. Chef Clive is truly a culinary genius and we recommend the grilled lobsters, squid tempura or any grilled fish and salad. The rooms villas are extremely spacious, beautiful and private, giving you the feeling that you are in your own little paradise. Each villa has a private pool, pool lounges, swings, sitting area and spacious en-suite rooms. Antonio the owner is very big on sustainable and there was no plastic in sight! The water bottles and almost everything in site was custom designed using locally sourced and eco-friendly materials. If you are visiting Malindi, nothing beats Leopard Point in terms of experience and service. It is truly a vibe and I can't wait to go back!
