皇家園酒店(Royal Court)

It's absolutely horrid. The toilet lid was down with a sanitised notice but soon as I raised the kid, it was fikthy with unclean poop. The internet was unstable and I kept getting logged out every 5 minutes so couldn't get any work done on a work trip. The food is insipid and they couldn't even do a paneer tikka well. I checked out within 3 hours and moved to courtyard by the marriott. If you can afford better, please stay away.

Niet schoon, vergane glorie, aftandse badkamer, het bed had een velours hoofd board (zo vies, hoe verzin je het), matig restaurant, maar de gastheer was buitengewoon humorloze en vriendelijk. Locatie uitstekend, tempel op loopafstand.

we had a chance to visit madurai for one night as we were passing to rameswaram for temple dharshan.we halted at night as we were tired we slept we couldn't notice much difference.in the morning we had their breakfast really a sumptuous one large array of dishes and they have given us dosa which is hot and tasted flakes juices omlette and pal panniyaram pongal pori vada etc.As i have shared the photo of temple wow what a sight to see the famous meenakshi temple gopuram .really stunning and for visitors who wants to visit meenakshi am*** temple this is best hotel very near to it.

Hygeine was really good.while I enter the room good aroma. Great food in the crystal restaurant. Rooms are really spacious and staff support is out standing. Located in very heart of the city just opposite to the railway station and shopping area.

Pleasant experience.room is spacious. and breakfast is excellent. and room cleaning also excellent staff is abdulla excellent worker,hotel isjust opposite to madurai railway junction and periyar bustand menakshi temble five minutesdrive.......

Nice place. 1. The hotel is on the main road. So ask for rooms that are not in the front (facing the road) as there will be disturbance from passing traffic. 2. The restaurant is small, but the food is excellent. So don't go by the looks. 3. The staff are very polite and helpful. 4. For the young and physically active, it is walking distance from the Meenakshi temple. 5. Value for money.

Positive is the close proximity to railway station and Meenaksi temple. Hotel is old and is due for refurbishment. The bathtubs need immediate replacement as no amount of cleaning can be of help. Breakfast buffet is average with very few choices. Another negative is that there is no bar in this hotel Overall rating is average

The rooms were clean and well maintained. Location was perfect. Walkable distance to Meenakshi Am*** temple and bang opposite to the railway station Wify was unreliable and was down most of the time. After complaining they fixed it but was down again after a little while. Other than this one issue, had a comfortable stay.

Horrible experience. While having food in restaurant I got a broken glass piece of one Inch from the gravy. How ***y people would have had it before I found it. How ***y all pieces of small glass would have gone into people's stomach. Dangerous to have food from this hotel.
