Horrible experience.rooms not at all maintained..couldnt charge mobile phone as power socket was not working.bathroom soap dispensing was not working. Food at the restaurant was good.

It was an excellent stay with delicious breakfast as a complimentary at affordable price. Services wre top notch. Close proximity to railway station, Meenakshi Am*** temple and periyar bus stand. We stayed here in 2017 when this hotel was quite new and had a good experience so decided to book again. However, this time it felt like a completely different place. Very run down, not maintained well at all. Stained bedding and towels. Mould in the bathroom. Dusty floors. Asked for a clean bath mat and was given one that was even dirtier. Staff at the front desk were somewhat helpful. Open doors for you and help with luggage. Breakfast buffet is decent. Thorough cleaning and touch ups of paint etc would have helped maintain this place better. Also room was very small. We stayed for a week but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for more than 1-2 days as there’s no space if you have lots of luggage.

Non-veg food served to our pure vegetarian family despite giving clear cut communication to the restaurant staff who took our order......Untrained staff and small boys handling the restaurant. Issue was taken up with front desk and restaurant ***ager, but they did not co****sate either and no goodwill gesture was shown....Very indifferent attitude and careless people......Hospitality seems no where in the entire hotel.....Hotel location is near to main temple.

Stayed during a business visit to Madurai. Stay was awesome. Breakfast spread was awesome and tasty. Hotel staff was friendly. Decent room size and extremely neat and clean. Reception staff guided me also for the local sightseeing. Highly recommended hotel.

Not a good stay for the price Like a 4 star, Rooms very dark, bathroom not clean, limited toiletries, only the buffet Breakfast was above average, which I did not expect after seeing the condition of smelly lobby and dirty rooms. No complimentary bottled water and basic toiletries were available only on request.

We Enjoyed stay at Astoria.. Lovely rooms and super helpful staff, informed us about items left behind in room and they promptly couriered to us.. Food are good and locate on the main road. We are Highly recommended for a pleasant stay in Madurai.
