I totally look for a refund, I traveled 400 miles to Lubbock Tx for a graduation on Friday March 3, 2023-- the hotel said that check in was at 3 -- the ceremony was at 4 pm and I didn't get my room until 3:40 pm-- I didn't make it to the ceremony, that was the main reason for my travel--they said the room were still not ready, they didn't even gave me what I reserved a 2 queen bedroom

Had no working thermostat in first room. Went to front desk as it was 21 degrees out side and she asked if I tried the thermostat on the wall or the actual condenser by the window(old school)? I informed her that the thermostat on the wall wouldn’t come in at all. No heat, cool, vent never showed Any sign of life. So I did go to the unit at the window and pressed the power button and unit never came on. Unplugged the unit to see if it would reset. Nothing. So she apologized and gave me another room. This room thermostat on the wall showed 64 with it on heat 72 and fan blowing only cool air. I turned the unit to off and then tried again and set it to 70 heat the air from the unit felt warmer, not hot but warmer. I had already missed almost first quarter of football game I had traveled to see so I left with fingers crossed that it would warm up. Nope came back late at 11PM and was only up to 66 with heat still on 70. Went to front desk and there were no more rooms! So I had to get tbe -30 sleeping bag and all the extra blankets from the car so that my dtgr and her friend would not freeze! Never got above 67, which for menopause me was fine just not for 2 young girls. The front desk person said they had just had an inspection too.. obviously the 2 rooms I was give were either overlooked and they didn’t inspect them all! The tub drain was needing to be cleaned as well took forever to drain between showers. Girls enjoyed the pool, hot tub and breakfast

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Spacious suite. Typical breakfast. Only hiccup is they would not give me a printed receipt when I checked out since I used a third party to book. That is not right. I won’t know what I was actually charged until I get my card statement. Same answer from 3 different staff.

When we got there the front desk clerk was very friendly. Welcomed us with a smile and explained things to us before we checked in. The rooms are a great size and very clean. We went to the pool area it was hot and it seemed to have way too much chlorine. My kids weren't able to swim for very long because of the chlorine burning their eyes. The beds were comfortable and it had plenty of pillows. The breakfast was great hot and they had a varity of foods and drinks for breakfast. Other than than the pool our stay was great and I would stay here again.

this hotel needs to spend some money on their showers. The shower head must be twenty years old. I had to jump around just to get wet. And by the time I finished my shower I was standing in ankle deep water. Pretty gross.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room could have been cleaner. When we first got to our room, we found drinks had been left in the fridge. We used the pullout bed and found trash under it. We had to ask for toilet paper, towels and when we asked for the trash to be emptied, they gave us a large garbage bag, which sat outside our room most of the day. The bed was too firm for me and I woke up each morning with a sore back. My wife didn't have any problems with it so I guess that's just me. The pool area was nice, although I wish it was heated. But we enjoyed it and the hot tub. They didn't keep towels there so we had to ask for some and they gave us the tiniest of towels. We made it work. A full breakfast was included with egg, bacon, sausage, pancakes etc. That's a nice surprise. Since the pandemic, most hotels we've stayed at did away with hot breakfast and just had a bagged breakfast with fruit and a granola bar. Something I've never seen at a hotel before was a large brick wall with barbed wiring on top, behind our hotel and two others on either side of ours. I'm guessing it's for stopping someone from cutting through the property, but it did make it look like a prison from the back, pool area. We felt perfectly safe at the hotel.
