The hotel itself is pretty old, the rooms are poor condition for a Lagos hotel at that rate however my room was very clean. The staff are the best and room service was excellent. The food itself isn’t the best but not the worst. Try to avoid ordering continental food and order Nigeria dishes they are delicious.

We had a poor impression of FPH as a venue for accommodation and events, but Billy Oguchi, changed our impression. His attention to our needs made our stay memorable. Because of him we plan to return next year. Some of the front desk staff were not so friendly and willing to resolve issues, but Billy was exceptional. The facilities were very good and worth advertising.

Definitely one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in Lagos. This hotel is NOT 5 stars or luxury at all. First of all, check in takes an absolute decade! I spent about 40 minutes just trying to check in and the rooms person attending to me wasn’t even pleasant or warm. He was just acting like he was tired and started asking me for my phone number and email. I told him to use those provided for my office and he was being difficult about it so I lost my patience and yelled before he dropped the matter. Another lady then came over to assist. After the long and annoying checking in, I finally got to my room on the 4th floor and was surprised by the amenities. VERY BASIC, nothing luxurious for the price one pays to stay here. Room was small, bed was small (definitely not king size), bathroom is basic and outdated. Everything is very old and my biggest complaint, the room is only equipped with ONE PLUG! So if you need an extension cord, they tell you to pay a deposit of 5,000 Naira to put one in your room otherwise you only get one plug. I have never in my life experienced such farce. How can a hotel chain not have plugs for customers staying to charge their phones and laptops????? This is definitely the LAST TIME I’m staying here. I have nothing nice to say about the hotel. Only thing I enjoyed was the pool but you’re better off staying somewhere else and just coming in to use the pool. I recommend Lagos Continental or Eko Hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable and luxurious hotel experience. This is definitely not it.

Totally outdated, room stinks, stained towels & carpets, food not great and premium charges for ironing, as they wouldn’t supply iron & the board for free.

Lovely Hotel - But needs and proper outdoor running track around the surrounds of the hotel. Hotel could use the most of the lovely scenic views for hotel guests who want to walk or run or even both around the perimeter of the hotel. Loops!! Staff are nice and professional. Hotel is clean and lots of pool area over looking the Atlantic.

My husband and I checked in on Friday January 27, 2023 and left Sunday January 29th, 2023. We were attending the Small World function hosted by Federal Palace on Saturday January, 2023. We were in room 419. I wanted to bring to your attention the outstanding attitude, friendliness and professionalism of all the staff we encountered from security, to cleaning staff, waiters and waitresses, front desk individuals and those we had the opportunity to interact with, Your staff are truly your best feature. They are kind, professional, happy and so very polite, regardless of the situation and there were a couple of missteps, your staff remained respectful, professional and kind. Stayed a week during a business trip and it was really not enjoyable. No separate showers, shower head in the bath and water was only lukewarm despite asking them to turn it up. Waited 2 hours for room service after I was told that it will be 30-35 minutes when I ordered. Luckily the food was good but after 2 hours of waiting it was not worth it. Experience in the restaurant during the evenings was similar. Food orders took forever. Gym well equipped and clean - a pity the air conditioners did not work which made it almost unbearable as there are no opening windows. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful but there is definitely something wrong with housekeeping and the kitchen. I am sure you can find better service and quality at a similar rate on Victoria Island

I have returned to this hotel since 2006. Its a beautiful place and most importantly the team or people who have continued to make my stay memorable. Ekene at the concierge is a dream, very polite, welcoming and helpful. Mathew and Andrew at the check in desk makes our check-in smooth and easy. Peace at the pool wearing a huge smile, polite and playful. Bukola knows everyone at breakfast. She is very friendly, knows her returning guests and still extends the same courtesy to new guests. The cleaners do an amazing job with cleaning the rooms. Flower pots well tendered to. You have the best team and a lot of them have been working here for years, tells a lot about the management. A good job and the best hotel in Lagos. Don't stay anywhere else.
