It's my 4th stay at Radisson Anchorage and probably my last. I've preferred this hotel when I visit Nigeria because of its convenient location in VI and proximity to the water--I always book the lagoon-facing room and love the views. Unfortunately, after a great first stay in 2022, each subsequent stay has been worse than the last. On this stay, so many things went wrong that I simply could not believe can happen in a supposed 5-star establishment. The worst was that on one night, the batteries of my safe died and I was told there was nothing they could do to open it until the next morning, even after I pleaded with them to make a plan because my work laptop was locked inside and I had a major deadline which required me to upload a submission by midnight. They said there was nothing to be done as the IT staff had gone home for the night. I missed the deadline and it caused me no end of trouble at work, we lost out on a huge opportunity and I let down my whole team, 2 weeks later I'm still dealing with the fall-out from this incident and the reputational damage it has caused me as someone who otherwise is ALWAYS on top of my work. And all that Radisson could do was tell me "sorry". The second worst thing happened when I was checking out: I always use the Sixt transport service (fantastic, highly recommend!) -- but when I received my bill I saw several Sixt charges posted for the day of check-out which was odd as the only charge that day was supposed to be the airport transfer. When I asked about it, they told me these were charges from earlier in the week that they had forgotten to post. I thought this was suspicious as I could see Sixt charges posted throughout the week, so I asked for the signed receipts for each trip and went through them one by one. Sure enough, they had double-charged some trips, with the total inflated charges amounting to $65. After the Sixt lady checked again and confirmed that these were erroneous charges, I asked them to remove the amount so I could settle the bill quickly and go, as I was already late for the airport. One of the men at reception said that he needed to go through all the receipts and check again, I explained that I was in a hurry and the Sixt lady already confirmed the double charges, but he arrogantly responded that she doesn't work with him. After checking the receipts, he still dragged his feet fixing my bill until I became agitated, only then did another helpful gentleman finally sort out my bill--although he also had to check all the receipts yet again. It took about 40 minutes in total to check out, resulting in a very stressful high-speed drive to the airport. Oh and my Radisson Rewards points were never awarded, and the booking I made has vanished from my record in the RR app...what is happening with this place? I won't go through the other bad experiences I had, but suffice to say, I'm done with this hotel. The security & concierge staff remain as lovely as ever, the Sixt service is impecc

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a 4-days visit to Nigeria and it was a pleasant experience. The hotel itself looks a bit old with architecture but not bad at all. The staffs were very helpful, friendly, and just made it more enjoyable. The breakfast is the best!!! The boiled, egg, and fish sauce is yummy. I would definitely recommend this hotel

We had an incident , a terrible one - we stayed 3 days on the first booking and left for village for 4 days and reserved same category as a premium member for return on the 11th Jan 2024 ; upon checking in on 11th after travelling all day from village; this hotel had a military VIP - Generals of Nigerian army and they booted us out on the street; they gave us a flimsy excuse of Technical issue with our room . As a premium member ,I thought they should have given me priority to get another room ; I spoke to management and they were glad i left hotel ; me and my wife and kid took Uber and started searching hotel in Lagos in an evening exposing my European family to danger . I do not recommend anyone to trust this hotel ; too over priced and service not as a 5 star but 3 star. I demand compensation from this hotel for the torture they subjected us.

Excellent service, friendly staff, fabulous amenities and central location. The breakfast offers all palates a great selection. Each rooms has great amenities too, beautiful and clean. There is fabulous beauty salon on the lower floor that has a range of wonderful treatments.

I have been a regular at this hotel since 2018, friendly staff and serene lagoon side location. However, I have noticed a recent dip in the food quality, which used to be a highlight. Despite this, the overall experience remains positive.

This Hotel re defines excellence! rooms are spacepus and very generous bathrooms. super comfy dream beds and consistent housekeeping! spotless. The meals are a dream! breakfast for the KINGS. chef JOHN at the breakfast egg station doing a great JPOB and the pastry is easily worlds best. executive chef- please send him a bottle of the finest Dom Perignon. reaturant and the security in blue at lobby are very helpful/ the seafront facing rooms and public areas are out of this world. GM Raza - please let the beat of this excellent service GO ON. well done .despite the many guests evidently in restaurants and conference areas- the quality of service delivery is still world best. Barman Mark and Victo and Lucy on 3rd floor business lounge are stars in the full Galaxy of excellent staff. If BReathtaking was a HOTEL- this would be IT.I will recommend this hotel again, again again and again! well done guys.

Nice place to stay in Lagos with beautiful view. Nice atmosphere, good food. The staff is professional and hospitable. Love the pool and pool side to sit in the evening. Recommended for people with good taste and want comfort and luxury togather.
