阿斯特朗酒店(Astron Hotel)

Hotel con posizione ottima, leggermente fuori dalla confusione ma comunque a pochissimi passi dal centro e dalla spiaggia cittadina. Molto bello poter fare colazione nel portico davanti al porto e al castello. Peccato però che poi il cibo proposto sia di bassa qualità e povera la parte dolce, in più servita negli espositori aperti stile anni '80. Avrebbe decisamente bisogno di essere migliorata nella qualità e nella presentazione. Personale gentilissimo, abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare in una camera vista porto e sicuramente è stato un valore aggiunto, ma la camera e i corridoi sono da rimodernare, con moquette macchiata, tenda e copriletto vecchiotti, bagno grande ma datato. L'albergo dispone anche di una piscina e un parcheggio e sono da considerare come punto a favore, ma mi sono sembrati poco ordinati e un pò trasandati. Una bella riordinata nella parte del parcheggio per presentare meglio il passaggio verso la piscina non gli farebbe male, anche per dare una vista migliore alle camere che affacciano sul retro. In conclusione, nel totale mi è sembrato un albergo con delle ottime caratteristiche strutturali, ma che andrebbe migliorato nei dettagli (che poi fanno la differenza). Non so se ci tornerei.

Deniz manzaralı odamız, çok temiz, çalışanlar çok samimi çok yana yakın,her konuda çok yardımcı ve ilgililer.. Kahvaltı harikaydı 3 yıldız ama servis 4 yıldız ayarında.. Resepsiyon da Alex bize çok yardımcı oldu❤️ Kos geldiğiniz de kesinlikle burayı tavsiye ederim.. Fiyatı da çok uygun... Liman yürüyerek 2 dk sadece.. Teşekkürler herşeyi için ❤️

Enjoyed our week in April 2024. On the harbour front - lovely views when eating hearty breakfast. Beds were comfy. Additional covers and pillows available. Greek TV channels (fun watching Shrek in Greek)! Air conditioning worked great. Shower bit dated - needed repairing twice during our stay. Room was clean and offered a mini fridge and complimentary coffee/tea. Pool was freezing!! Nice poolside area - Look out for resident tortoises and cat!

This hotel is a little gem right on the harbour-front in Kos town. It is basic, but very clean and comfortable. The staff are so welcoming and genuine. Air-con in all the rooms too. The pool terrace at the back is great. Very private. Not a massive size, and not a lot of sunbeds .. but there always seems to be enough to go around. The pool has a waterfall spout and water jets, and there is a separate kiddy pool and a cool (but not cold) whirlpool as well. Despite being right at the harbour the hotel is very peaceful and tranquil, especially around the pool. It only offers B&B, but there is a good selection available for breakfast, and sitting on the front terrace watching the comings and goings in the harbour is a real pleasure to start the day. This was our second stay at the Astron, and we’ll be back. Special mention for William at reception who made us very welcome on arrival having remembered us from the year before. Also for Katerina who looks after the terrace bar, and Jenny at the pool bar. They all work hard to make sure we have drinks and snacks during the day, and with a smile. I really shouldn’t be writing this review because I want to keep it a secret all to myself ❤️

We stayed on the harbour at the Hotel Astron. The hotel is in a great position, but the rooms are dated. I would say they are recently decorated, air con, fridge, no safe, but safe in reception that you pay for. Pool, bar and basic breakfast. It's in a lovely position across from the harbour so it's very close to everything, the ancient sites, bars and restaurants. We requested a room with a shower due to a disability. The shower room was old style, needed a refurb. The drain in the floor was repaired twice whilst we were there, it kept falling through the floor leaving a hole so we had to cover it with a stool incase one of us caught our foot in it! I'd requested a accessible shower, but it had a high shower tray, about 6 inch high. No hand rail so I felt unsafe and it had a nylon shower curtain which allowed the floor to flood. We were told at hotel check in they were full and realised there was no chance of changing rooms.I suspect they knew the room wasn't ideal for people with disabilities. Later I noticed as we walked along the corridor past other open rooms doors that they all looked much better than ours. Think we drew the short straw! I wouldn't stay here again.
