設有水療的蘇梅島熱門酒店

I read many reviews about this resort and studied the Mantra Samui website, but never learned until after I booked (4 nights stay) my room that they had cancelled , during Covid, the regular shuttle that took guests down the hill to Fisherman Villa. I learned this because I called the hotel before my trip to ask some questions and also ask how to reserve a place on their shuttle. The resort does have one auto/driver that will drive you down to the bottom of the hill if it is there, and if it is not picking up someone at the airport. The shuttle delivers you directly to the bottom of the hill, is pretty much is just a local road. Then you can wave down a taxi and negotiate the price. Some fun! The Mantra Sumai should update their website to say the regular shuttle has been cancelled, and replaced by their maybe available one car. Continuing my story... We booked a massage at another hotel that is about 20 minutes away, and gave ourselves one hour to get there. So the night before we reserved to get the ride down to the bottom of the hill for the next day afternoon. When we went to reception, we were informed there was an accident, which was a flat tire, and the tire 'might' be fixed in half an hour and then another 20 minutes to get back to the Mantra. They apparently felt no responsibility to contact us. Just wait for the guests to show up and then tell them. They felt no responsibility to call the driver for any update. They then offered to call a taxi, but that would take about 20 minutes to arrive. Also when you call a taxi there is no opportunity for negotiation. My hour was dwindling. Well 20 is better than maybe 30 + 20 minutes. So they called the taxi. Luckily the Mantra driver showed up after 15 minutes, and the taxi was cancelled. My conclusion, after all the interfaces with reception, is they have a poor sense of responsibility and lacking the ability for logical thinking to provide a good guest experience. There are other examples beyond the above. Our suite room was in good condition, and everything functioning. Well, except the phone did not work, but I did not need that. The suite has a king size bed and a separate built in bed in the back of the living room. OK, so 4 people can stay. But the flaw in the suites is there is only a 2 person love seat to sit on. There is no chair, and no desk. It is no fun to use your laptop when the coffee table level is below your knees. A simple 4 leg table for a desk, and a simple chair would be nice, and not cost very much. They do have an on-site co-work room somewhere, but I did not use it. I think it is an extra cost and I did not have that much work to do anyway. The highlight of the Mantra Samui was the included breakfast. There are many cooked to order choices plus a buffet of juices, fruits, cereals, yogurt, pastries, and several breads you can toast yourself. 太棒啦，服務很好喲，入住前管家給你介紹酒店設施，房間使用，迷你吧各種免費飲料，小吃，酒.還有小孩們期待的每天一個“驚喜”電話，其實就是送一些小甜品過來，但感覺的誠意滿滿.有自己的App在上面可以用中文和酒店溝通自己的需求，反饋都很快，早餐還闊以，泳池很棒，對華人也很好，沒啥區別對待的，當然咱們自己個兒得自信哈，總的來的説酒店值得推薦，特別有娃的，我覺得和後面住的假日酒店天壤之別，後面雖説也是親子酒店但各方面還是差一截.

優點： 1. 服務：管家非常管用和貼心，上來加了微信，隨時聯絡隨時都能得到迴應。其他服務人員也很關心客人，很personal。 2. 至尊泳池套房，我們住的411房視野非常開闊，看海非常美，離餐廳和大堂都很近。房間內部寬闊而舒適。在房子裏晃了兩天挺舒服。 3. 早飯：豐盛而且以單點為主，吃出正餐感覺。 4. 位置：離機場僅20分鐘，不折騰。離一箇中型購物中心10分鐘車程，周圍街區也挺熱鬧。 5. 酒店不大，沙灘有些紮腳，沒有很多設施。但海水在這裏非常清澈乾淨，湛藍色非常好看。熱帶雨林般的園區環境，低調放鬆。 缺點： 1. 的確比較小，沒有很多地方可去。但出了酒店門街上和附近海灘可玩的似乎很多。 2. 設施不是很新很時髦，但也還經典東南亞度假酒店氣息，例如柚木地板等。喜歡時髦的人不一定很有滿足感。

10月22日,我們在這個新建的酒店住了5晚,通常是 OFF 季節(而不是免費升級,他們要求我們300個泰國浴來升級)。酒店非常漂亮,但位置不好,即使是7/11店也需要步行15分鐘上下山。酒店外沒有餐廳吃飯。沒有前往主要購物區(蘇邁中心)的免費班車。房間很乾淨(雖然他們在你的房間裏送你冷牛奶,但沒有咖啡奶油機)。需要改進的地方很少。家政很一般。所有的員工都很有禮貌,樂於助人。我們吃了免費的自助早餐,這是波濤一般的早餐。我們的住宿時間很長,在我們逗留期間,我們從未喝過熱茶或咖啡。他們總是至少需要15分鐘爲您服務咖啡。早餐場景相當混亂。泳池非常非常漂亮乾淨,他們有非常小的私人海灘。但是每個房間的景色特別是大堂都是爲了死。總體來說我還是會給8/10

12月27日帶弟弟去魚屋慶祝60歲生日,10人的聚會,由於弟弟身體不好,我們提前預訂了6.30pm,服務很匆忙服務員一開始就告訴我們餐廳會很滿很忙,後來他們建議我們趕緊點菜。這有助於扼殺歡迎。餐廳從來沒有很忙,所以不知道爲什麼他們一開始就告訴我們這個。這讓我們感到相當不受歡迎。新手很好。然而,一些主要課程令人失望。我們四個人點了“海鮮飯”,兩個魚墨海鮮飯,兩個鵝肝海鮮飯,海鮮飯是西班牙海菜,通常在1.5英寸深左右,在蝦、魚等海鮮中堆積。這似乎是一個不錯的選擇,因爲我們在一家魚餐廳。海鮮飯被列入菜單“提供兩個”。我不知道爲什麼。它們很小。單身成年人很容易吃一個,仍然覺得餓。煩人。這與我們在西班牙吃過的海鮮飯沒什麼區別。鍋底有一層薄薄的幹米飯,烏賊墨海鮮飯簡直不能形容,上面有四隻貝,米飯不含任何海鮮。至於“鵝肝海鮮飯”,我們預計這既是海鮮,也有鵝肝。然而,“鵝肝”根本沒有海鮮。再一次,它只是鍋底的一層薄米飯,上面有一塊鵝肝。不知道怎麼可以有“海鮮飯”沒有海食,自相矛盾,工作人員應該警告我們所謂的“海鮮飯”沒有海食,我們覺得這是對本來是特殊場合的失望努力,我特意推薦這個地方,因爲我們在一年裏呆在那裏度過了一段美好的時光。我們給通用汽車發了電子郵件,但他/她甚至沒有給我們回覆。

蘇梅島入住的第一個酒店，也算是蘇梅島排名前十的。稍微有點偏，附近沒有商圈，開車出去還可以。酒店小而美，很有度假的氛圍感，吊帶一穿，墨鏡一帶，愛誰誰的感覺就來了。 酒店有兩個泳池，moon 餐廳下和沙灘旁邊。我們住的離沙灘近，去了幾次沙灘那個泳池，也泡了半天沙灘，特別安靜。 房間服務也很好，可以幫忙預訂外面的餐廳，這點挺好的，入住期間我們打卡了 roof 和 chill，都是酒店幫忙預訂的，而且很近，推薦可以去。

A very pleasant stay! Especially Ammie, very nice staff, gave us extra attentive help and took care like a friend! We were satisfied with both the hygiene of the hotel room and the view, and the hotel's social accounts made the travel process more convenient.

We really liked staying here- and ultimately I think it was the right choice for our stay. However, it’s really important to understand before your stay that this hotel is secluded and you are therefore reliant on the hotel for transport, and to an extent also food. It’s definitely worth booking an infinity pool villa as this made it a special and unforgettable experience, if you don’t do this you might be better off staying down on the beach as the selling point of this hotel is the view and the private pools. The transport up and down the hill and to other places gets expensive fast- we paid about 3000 baht extra just in shuttle costs into town. The cheapest way to deal with this is get the free shuttle to crystal bay beach and then hire a bike, but you might struggle to get the bike up the hill, so again you’re reliant on paying the hotel for transport which even at the beach costs you after 5pm. The other issue is the food. You’re stuck with the restaurant there’s literally nowhere else to go. The Thai food was fine but expensive compared to everywhere else, the drinks weren’t great, but the problem for us was the breakfasts. They were unpleasant both thai and western options. Better to hold on and avoid eating there if you can, but as stated if you’re at the hotel it is the only option without paying for transport- there is nowhere else to eat. The service however was lovely and friendly. If you’re after a quiet escape then it’s worth it, and if you want to prioritise the pool and the view, otherwise you might be better off somewhere more central.
