Definitely steer clear. Hygiene and safety are but two of the serious issues of the establishment. The rooms are big and the bedding seemed clean and meat but everything else was off. The walls were dirty, rooms don't lock, windows have bars on them in places. It's also very noisy.

I was told I would have to move rooms on the second night because they had booked my room out to someone else! There were sofas outside my room so I was woken every morning and kept awake every night by a large group of men talking outside my room. We kept getting asked for money and food off some of the staff! Part of the ceiling fell down and just missed us on the corridor. As a single woman I did not feel safe in the hotel. The food was very nice though!

If a zero review was possible, trust me, this would be just that. It is filthy, room doors don’t lock, linen is spoiled and the sensory appeal is that of rubbish dump in the summer heat. The duration of the stay was approximately 13 minutes prior to the escape. Do not ever stay here.

Need to go back to old days with high level standards of service to have the rooms ready before check in . We need as well to review the bathroom as the sink and toilet have been stained by the water and bath tub as well. The essentiels should be top up for couples such as soap and towels. Fruits and natural juice to make the lovely breakfast more enjoyable.

Hotel is run down and not as per the pictures as per the web or on the app. The pool is empty, the general condition of the premises are relatively poor currently. In the room, the furniture is neglected and the little dressing room is in a bad shape. The bathroom is okay but the ceiling has black mould and it looked like it hasn't been cleaned or painted in months or years. The bedding has some marks on it which tells me it is old and not replaced ever so often. For general standards in Kiwe it is average to poor, compared to other hotels and lodges. I would rather pay the price and stay at the new hotel in Kitwe.
