-Bathroom sliding door was broken, it was held by only one hinge. Brought this problem to front desk, male front desk, said maintenance crew will be there on Sunday, which we checked out on Saturday. I asked to changes the room, he said, "there was nothing available." I also ask for some kind of discount, front desk said "the manager will look into it." I also asked to speak with manager, he said, "manager was not available."
-Concern was safety. Sliding door may fall on my family while accessing the bathroom and during our sleep. To access the bathroom, we all had to lift the heavy door and slide to close and open.
-Took photos of the two loose screw and left on the countertop.
- Hotel provided 3 towels for family of 5. In the morning, I went down to the front desk to requested additional towels for family. Male front desk consulted with someone in the back room and said it is our policy that I (the guest) return the three dirty towels first before issuing new ones. He also said, "guest have been stealing towels." I felt insulted.
-Fortunately, a female front desk gave me the new towels. I got the 3 towels hurried to my room on the second floor and gather the three dirty towels to swap them out.
-Before check out. I spoke a Shanenea to informed her about the bath door. She told me that she is putting a ticket right away. She was very helpful and professional.
Overall, it was a horrible experience for my family. I felt insulted and discriminate against.
