The Best Western in John Day was great. The exercise equipment worked well. The breakfast was tasty (we had biscuits and gravy, and eggs). The room was clean and orderly. The staff was friendly and courteous. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub! The hotel is located centrally in downtown, and there are restaurants within walking distance.

Great stay! Breakfast was amazing, our room didn’t have any wash clothes but front office staff was quick to get us some. Will definitely stay her again.

The desk person was very professional! The only minor disappointment was there were no wash cloths or Hand towels. However, the young lady at the front desk saw to our needs promptly!

The room needed a deep cleaning, there were handprints on the headboard. The bathroom curtain was falling apart. The toilet needed to be scrubbed.

Tried to charge for early check in. I was 42 minutes early. attendant explained the reason for the charge is having to move staff around to clean a room early. My room was ready so did not make much sense.
