I recently stayed at this hotel which left me disappointed due to their shuttle service limitations. While the overall experience was average, the lack of a 24-hour shuttle service proved to be a significant inconvenience, particularly for early morning flights. One of the key reasons I chose this hotel was because of its location and a shuttle service to the airport. However, upon checking in, I was informed that the shuttle operated only from 7 am onwards. This was highly inconvenient as my flight departure time was earlier. I approached the receptionist to inquire about alternative options, hoping for some flexibility or assistance, but was met with an unhelpful suggestion to order an Uber instead. Having previously stayed at other hotels near airports, I had come to expect a 24-hour shuttle service as the norm. It was disappointing to find that this particular hotel did not offer the same level of convenience. Given the additional cost associated with using ride-hailing services like Uber, this unforeseen expense was an unwelcome surprise. In conclusion, if you have early morning flights or rely on a reliable 24-hour shuttle service, I would caution against choosing this particular hotel. I would recommend exploring other nearby options that prioritize customer convenience and provide a more accommodating shuttle service.

Breakfast kitchen horrible Unhygenic

The hotel is nice, the rooms clean and facilities ok. We were supposed to check in at 14:00 according to our booking but the rooms were not ready and I had to sit in the lobby for an hour before I could do so resulting in some inconvenience due to other commitments I had. The real issue was that a free shuttle service is advertised and mentioned on our booking which is partly true as it only operates at certain hours. Surely as an airport hotel you need to have a shuttle service to and from the airport catering for all hours as other cheaper hotels in the area does... We were charged R800.00 for a trip to the airport at 04:00am with the usual hotel shuttle. I have also written to the hotel raising my concerns on their website but no response. For service and delivery on inclusions one is better off at some of the other airport hotels...

This hotel is handy for a night while waiting for connecting flight. Breakfast is amazing so many choices. Has shuttle bus every 30 minutes to get you to and from the airport. The choice of restaurants at the ****** are good and well priced depending on what you prefer.

Lovely hotel. Rooms are spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly, welcoming & helpful. Location is convenient for early morning flights. Check in process was fast & efficient. The hotel is on the pricey side but it is worth it. The breakfast looked promising unfortunately we did not get to try it.

We had a one night stay at this hotel before our international flight. The room was very spacious with a few very comfortable beds. The bathroom was good with a very awesome shower. The basin area was clean but there was no place to put the soap. We had to leave it inside the basin. There was a good equipped gym and pool, which we had no time to enjoy. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Many options of restaurants at Emperors Palace for lunch and dinner.
