奧克蘭海沃德拉昆塔温德姆套房酒店(La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oakland - Hayward)

It wasn't the property so much as the Desk Help in the morning. I have stayed at La Quinta many times this year and was going to continue to until what happened this morning. When I arrived I saw that there was no freezer in the room I was in. I went to the front desk and asked to have it placed in their freezer for the night. I am a Diabetic and need it to keep my Insulin cool. I came to the front desk and asked for it and the girl there gave it to me unfrozen. It had been placed in the refrigerator and not the freezer! I asked why it was not placed in the freezer and the girl looked at me, shrugged her shoulders as if to say "so what if it isn't frozen". I tried to explain that it was for my insulin and that I needed to keep it cold but she just looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language and she could care less. Never have I had this issue with La Quinta before! I will never stay at this place again! There are too many options and places to stay to be treated so poorly! My Insulin was lost as I could not keep enough Ice to keep it cold. A waste of $ 135.00 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only review I can say it’s I am in difficult my car it’s broke last night and the agent from ******* call this hotel to weave to allow us to cancel and refund the money and they don’t allow us to do that that terrible

First the positive. The cleaning staff is friendly and does an excellent job. Love the coffee bar and the the breakfast has some good simple options. The lobby has some great comfortable seating and some employees were also very helpful. One even helped me carry some stuff. I stayed here for nine nights and had extended my stay several times. I was going to stay even longer but on the 8th night the night staff ignored my do not disturb sign and pounded on my door after 10pm like and angry animal. Everyone was rudely woken up. Was this some kind of emergency that merited being woken up in the middle of the night, no way. I had extended my stay with the morning staff and it turned out there was some kind of miscommunication between them and the night staff. Something wrong with the way the morning staff checked me in. Basically I needed to sign a paper and leave a deposit again. The man on duty said the manager said he needed to clear this stuff up. Ok, but why so late. Could this have waited until the morning or come by at a more responsible hour. Ignoring the do not disturb sign and waking up the whole neighborhood because of your mistakes is unforgivable. Horrible, horrible service. Its also bad that the noisy garbage truck comes at 4am too. I need my sleep and the front desk night staff does not understand what do not disturb means so there is no way i will be returning.

The lobby was pleasant. Check in was pleasant. The room itself was below par. There was bugs flying around. Corners were dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. Would rather sleep on the floor for that matter. The pillows were super worn out and not fluffy at all. Worst sleep ever.

If you want convenient, this place is close to shopping and freeway access. If you want amenities and R&R. This is not the place. The hotel staff was friendly but not informative. Just gave us our key. Usually most staff tells you about what the hotel offers. Nope. Nothing. Also do not be fooled by the photos on the website. This hotel is pretty dated. The elevator was old and seem to be not working at times. We know that because we can hear people claiming in the middle of the night. Our room was some what clean. We usually wipe everything down so it didn’t bother us too much. However our room smelled really musky. Even after we cleaned, it still stunk. The carpet was sticky and delaminating from the floor. A potential tripping hazard if you have kids. And if you want R&R, don’t count on it. You can hear everyone talking when they walk by, when they’re complaining about the elevator down the hall, the dump trucks, the cleaners, motorist…basically the walls are way too thin, you can hear everything. If you just need a place to stay for cheap than this is it, otherwise look elsewhere.

Based on what I paid for the place it was what was expected. However even thou a non smoking room; someone had clearly smoked in the bathroom and when I brought it up to the front desk at check out, I was pretty much made felt that since I didn’t address it immediately at check in than I was the culprit who smoked in the room. Keep in mind also that I checked in around 1 am with children tired as heck and just needed to crash. Next morning I had early morning commi**ents so as I headed out I asked check out time- was advised 11/12. I came back a little before 11 to gather things and I walk in (also keep in my mind my key card still works as I am still checked in ) to a totally cleaned room and my stuff nowhere to be seen. I had to them deal with front desk trying to track down housekeeping for my stuff “if it was really left behind” All in all, cost may look nice but not work this horrible experience.

Hotel dans la moyenne mais avec une très mauvaise insonorisation ce qui ne facilitait pas le repos. Mes enfants ont bien apprécié le jacuzzi, le petit déjeuner était typique des USA avec des bagels, des saucisses, des œufs, des céréales, des muffins mais je regrette une bonne salade de fruits et un plus large choix de yaourts.

The new owners are nothing like the last owners. Zero interest in customer service. I used to stay regularly as I flew in and out of shag ward airport. Not anymore. Very poor management.
