Front desk attendent 11:15 AM 28 July 23 was terrible. Engaged in personal phone conversation the entire time we were checking out. Dining room attendents likewise outside food area on phones not atteding to serving area. Housekeeping staff all friendly and engaged.

The Hampton Inn Groton was a nice hotel. The facility is good, the breakfast was nice and the staff was pleasant. However, there was a dog in the next room that parked frequently until after 10pm, and then sporadically throughout the night.

Friendly staff. Very safe area. The bed skirt needed thorough cleaning. Rugs could be shampooed.

When got in to the hotel, front desk staff couldn’t find my reservation in their system. They advised me to call *******. I called ******* and they spoke with front desk staff and provided confirmation. It was little unexpected as I had my two kids with me. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the hotel services, I want to mention about Jose, (hotel front desk staff) he was very on top on my requests. Thank you for everything.

Everything was as expected. The pool that was heated was still pretty cold. The room was very warm--the water--not so much.The person I brought wanted to swim every night but said the water was too cold-I agree. it was conveniently located for us in between Foxwoods and Mystic. The complementary breakfast was amazing. We thought going down just before 10 AM. Everything would either be not fresh or gone, but there was something different every day and it was really good.

It's conveniently located on one of the main streets in town. There is plenty of dining and shopping options a short drive into town. The staff were very helpful and extremely nice when we arrived before our scheduled check-in time, but they were still able to accommodate us which meant a lot since my whole family was tired from flying in on the red eye earlier that morning.

There was no lighting in the rooms. We had to use our cell phone lights to search through our bags

This hotel got great reviews so we felt comfortable booking it for a family trip. But when we got there, the room smelled musky and was damp, the smoke detectors were off the wall, and the bathroom door (which was a barn door) was off the track and the handle was broken. They were going to put a maintenance order in but for early the next morning which didn't work with our schedule. we ended up switching hotels for our next night. Some of the inconveniences we could look past but the AC air made our clothes wet, damp bedding, and was not comfortable. The neighborhood also seemed soso.
