伊塔斯坎汽車旅館(Itascan Motel)

Nasty nasty nasty nasty they have cockroaches rented a room at Itascan motel when I got into my first room it was filthy and when I say filthy I mean like I don't think it's been cleaned and I don't know how long I'm a vacation rental cleaner so I know how to tell when places are clean regularly so we called the front desk just told them we needed some cleaning stuff we're willing to stay in the room because we had all of our stuff already moved in he said no to the cleaning stuff and ended up moving us to another room however once we got in that room it got even worse there's cockroaches garbage behind TVs old food or bones with mold on it with colvin and everything else all the sicknesses this is not healthy and not even close to being able to be rented I've had two kidney transplants and this guy just didn't even bat an eye

The light when you walked in was crackling a sounded like it was shorting out and flashing, furniture more then just a little stained, didn’t dare set anything on shelf above sink in bathroom as it was pulling out of wall, not sure what was up with bulb in weird little hallway that had coffee pot, it was a bulb with what appeared to have what must have been a shade attached at one time..bed looked clean but pulled aside sheet and disgusting stained mattress pad..needless to say I laid on top of bedding with all my clothes on, we gave up and left at 5AM.. pictures on site look clean, wasn’t expecting anything great..but this was awful. Seriously wonder how it could pass safety/building inspection..if that’s a thing!,

The hotel is very old, moldy, smells! No A/C… despite them saying it does! Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever been in.

Soft sheets and a comfortable bed. The room was HOT when I arrived via motorcycle, it would have been nice if several rooms were prepped for the expected number of guests.

The property is not ADA compliant with steps to get into room and narrow doorway into bedroom. The place is an old motel badly needing a renovation. The room was fairly clean but could use vacuuming behind the furniture. No tub; just a shower in the small bathroom. Beds were good which met our needs for the one night.

The check-in experience was smooth and accurate, and the staff was friendly. The room condition left a lot to be desired: --- The bathroom door (Room 13) was being held together by tape, which was coming undone. --- The Wi-Fi signal in the room was very weak, and we needed to go to the office to get an acceptable signal. --- The armchair was old and worn but still comfortable.

The carpet hasn’t been replaced since smoking was allowed because room has the overwhelming smell of 10-year old stale smoke saturated hell. My husband actually found it hard to breathe because of it. The carpet was once burgundy but, a lot of it looks black because it is so stained. They have cleaned behind beds or other furniture in what looks like years. There are holes in the walls & dirt was not vacuumed between guests even in the obvious open spaces. All this for $120. The wi-fi didn’t work. Last room available in town & I prepaid or I would have slept in my car after stepping foot in the door.

A group of us stayed at The Itascan during a weekend trip. I had room 21, which had 2 beds. The beds were essentially in 2 small rooms, with a wall between them, giving you some privacy. The bed was OK. However if I would have looked closer at the sheets the first night, I would have been in the office right away asking to have things fixed. The morning of checkout I looked closer at the the sheet and found what appeared to be blood stains in the sheet (see picture). Right away on the first night I checked my pillows. They gave us 3 on the bed. One was ruled our right away because it too was stained. The bathroom is small. The shower is very small, with light water pressure. I should have looked closer at the shower curtain. The final morning I saw streaks of mildew. Who knows when the curtain was last cleaned or changed. The air conditioner ran, but it didn't blow real cool air. There was also a fridge that kept things cool and a microwave. I don't know how that worked as it was not plugged in and I didn't try to use it. The TV is a good sized flat screen. However I didn't watch it as I wasn't in the room much. It looks as if the baseboard heater no longer works, so they have a portable heater in the room. It was disgusting looking and very dirty. The Itascan needs a lot of updating and very thorough cleaning of the entire place. If this is the only place that's left, you might want to visit Walmart or Target to pick up some Lysol and Clorox as you may need it to take care of what housekeeping doesn't. I know I will not stay at the Itascan again. It's not worth the $131.00 nightly rate we were charged...maybe $65 but not $131.00.

Beautiful view, gps wanted me to walk on water to get here. Ate at Anchor Bar close, great burger.
