懸湖旅館(Hanging Lake Inn)

If you are a minimalist and think that Motel 6 is too luxurious, then this is the place for you. It was clean and very bare bones. It had a bed and a few amenities like a sink, shower, and toilet. The toilet was very useful as there were no chairs in the room so it provided a place to sit. There were no curtains but a nice-looking set of horizontal blinds was provided but the spaces between the slats allowed light to come through.. The pillows were typical motel lumps but we always travel with our own pillows so we were not stuck using them. The lack of carpeting was tolerable but the 1/2 inch high divider between the sleeping area and the bathroom area was a dangerous nuisance as we both stumbled over it. I guess we're just clumsy.. We were disappointed with the room because the exterior looked so nice and inviting. The view, however, is wonderful. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. This time we were losers.

My husband and I head to Glenwood Springs every fall for a week's get-away. We have stayed at Hanging Lake Inn every year for at least the past 9 years. We love the "mom and pop" inn and supporting a locally owned business. We love that the inn is so "squeaky clean" and has parking right in front of your door. We take munchies, sandwich fixings and breakfast items with us, so the refrigerator, microwave and Keurig come in handy! The washer/dryer is great and we usually pack light since we wash clothes at least once during our stay. So, if you want a great stay in a super nice inn, Hanging Lake Inn is for you!

A wonderful little gem with friendly personable service. Accommodations were comfortable and well maintained. Would highly recommend. Easy access to all types so adventures. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was fantastic! The staff and owners were incredible. It was exceptionally clean and recently remodeled, with a delightful scent throughout. Situated in a beautiful location, it's surrounded by many excellent dining options. I especially loved the comfortable beds, the refreshing shower, and the overall cleanliness. The room amenities included a refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig machine. Additionally, they offered laundry facilities. I will definitely return; my four-night stay was truly wonderful.

Great place to stay when you want to pull up to your door! Love the clean tile floors and neat wood window shades. They work with you at the desk. The first time I stayed there we had a booking issue and they were wonderful to me. Stay here.

We have stayed here two different times in the last few years as we pass through the area in our constant pursuit of beautiful CO. We will come back every time. EVERY time. This neat hotel is the perfect example of what you want if you want to drive up to your door and walk in to be delighted with a clean, crisp room.

Room was clean and comfortable. We spent two nights in October. (Myself, husband, and 10 year old). The staff was very professional. Our key card had an issue and they had it fixed by the time we returned from dinner. There aren't a lot of extra frills, but if you're looking for a quiet, comfy place to crash for a couple of nights, this is the place.

This was the second time we’ve enjoyed a stay at The Hanging Lake Inn. We stayed in a Queen room. Super clean. Love the vinyl-tile floors. It had a comfy bed, coffee maker, working heater, fridge and microwave. Stunning morning view! We will never forget that the owner did us a HUGE favor as we were leaving, letting us know that our truck tailgate was down and shutting it snuggly for us.

The location is ideal. The beautiful view which is seen so clearly from the room is gorgeous. The room is very clean and staff is so polite. Highly recommend booking this location whenever your in town.
