We had a great stay at hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs. Of course it’s amazing to stay in an iconic hotel that has existed for 130 years, and it’s charm and decor do not disappoint. The renovated rooms have maintained their charm, while having a little style update. The staff is amazing – very helpful and willing to make sure that your stay is an enjoyable one. In the summer, do not miss dining on the patio.

Hôtel historique bien situé près de la piscine municipale thermale. Personnel courtois .Grandes chambres. Stationnement en bordure d’hôtel facilement disponible et gratuit. Aires communes chaleureuses.

We loved the location. We could walk everywhere. We walked to Iron Mountains Springs - about a mile walk.
We took the Amtrak train which was a beautiful ride to Glenwood Springs, and the hotel is just over a walking bridge to the hotel.
We had a delicious dinner outside with amazing live music Thursday night.
The hotel is old but clean, the bathrooms could use some upgrading, but it was clean, and we would stay there again!!

The check in process was long as it was time to check in. The long line took about 25 minutes as there was only one person at the front desk. Our king one bedroom suite was extremely dirty. There was hair in the bathtub there is weird stains in the corner. The entire bathroom wasn’t cleaned. I don’t think the room had been playing at all. The staff was nice and moved us to a new room.

Awesome hotel with tons of character. Get tge balcony upgrade! Worth every cent. Easy walking distance to Glenwood Hot Springs and downtown.
