The hotel is ok with decent room size . The only thing we did not like is the restaurant and the waitresses. We went for breakfast at 935 am and we were served our breakfast at 1045 which was over one hour. The waitress was not nice at all and seems she was throwing the dishes on the table when she served us. The food was not worth the money too. We ordered some hashbrown and it was cold and not tasty at all. This hotel should do better . I for sure won't pay for that room price again for that service.

It was fine. Room was clean but VERY outdated. The pools and hot tub were good it was nice to have the option to have an indoor and outdoor pool. Very expensive for what you get, you are definitely paying for the location. Beach was nice to walk up and down but bring good walking sandals as the beach is all rocks. 5/10

Thought I was getting a renovated room - not so! Carpet at door was thread bare. Could only access 1 electrical outlet - in the bathroom, Operation of TV - spent an hour to finally get something. No instructions/channel listing. Furniture is covered in scratches. In general ‘run-down’. The only positive thing during my stay was the birds chirping in the numerous bird houses across the street

Very clean and in an excellent location. Room smelled a little from the air-conditioning. There was a loose tile in the bathroom which could use some upgrades. We wanted to have a drink on the deck in the restaurant but was told we were unable to do so unless we ordered food or else we had to go to the bar. Understandable if the place was crowded but there was no one on the deck and a lot of open tables all evening.

If you want to spend some time in Gimli, this is a fine place to do so if you are looking for a hotel. The place is located right by the beach and there is parking on site too. The beds were comfortable and the patio was nice to have. The negatives were the tv channels rarely worked and the wifi signal could not manage to stream a tv as an alternative. Also the hot tub is incredibly small and busy. The sauna was great though, and they do have an adult hour 10-11 in the pool. Lot's of food choices around and below the hotel also. Overall, a decent stay in Gimli but next time I would try another place.

The facilities are tired and need some upgrading. The biggest disappointment was food services. It was Mothers day Weekend and we were not advised that reservations were needed for the Friday dinner time until we arrived at the restaurant. We had no other options except the bar. We were also informed that the Sunday brunch was also booked solid so we had to reserve for 9:00 in order to get breakfast.

Staff at check in was anything but friendly. The room was clean but dated, needs a face lift. Won’t pay the price to stay again. Bar and restaurant were closed very early when we tried to go to grab a bite and a drink.

During summer months, lunch on the Seagulls deck overlooking Lake Winnipeg is the best. The Lakeview resort is comfortable, and close to everywhere in this lovely resort town.

Brought my daughters and there families the kids and adults had a great time thanks to your friendly staff.
