Our family's experience at the Acorn Guest House was a delightful blend of affordability and quaint charm, nestled in the city of George. This cozy retreat proved to be the perfect setting for a comfortable and value-driven stay, ideal for families. The swimming pool, was a highlight for our kids. It offered a refreshing and enjoyable distraction. There was a slight musty character to the rooms; I suppose that added to the quaintness of our accommodation, although if you have allergies you'll notice it. In conclusion, Acorn Guest House shines as a charming, family-friendly option. With its welcoming atmosphere and excellent value, it's a place we genuinely enjoyed and would happily recommend to anyone visiting the Garden Route.

Always stay here for work and have been for 3 years. Cant go wrong. Always clean and the service is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone travelling for work or pleasure. The location is great. Nothing is ever perfect, but they come close.

We had a very nice stay. Our room was on second floor with a fantastic view over the mountains. The room was completed with everything you will need and had a nice balcony. The staff was very friendly and gave us all help we needed.

Very central in the heart of George with people who are amazingly and friendly hosts as well as a really incredible breakfast and everything about this guest house is a little bit more unique than just the vanilla flavor standard. Rooms are very spacious being in a wheelchair myself was absolutely no problem with so much space. Will definitely recommend this guest house and some more and the big question always asked yes I will be back as first choice at the Acorn guest house

A beautiful guesthouse in a central location - easy to access most of the central town by foot from there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is different each morning and delicious. They have a pool that you can cool down in on the hot days. Its next to a big historical church and from my room I could hear the church bell every 30 minutes. Its not a terrible distraction, but if you can't sleep for whatever reason, the church bell will be a further distraction :) . This is not a reason to not book with Acorn, as I recommend that you do - perhaps just ask for one of the rooms at the back of the main house.

Even though this was a short stop over between cities. It provided us the best possible rest and breakfast we needed on our journey. The communication from the guest was on time and everything we needed to know to make this stay a great one. One of the best places with great attention to detail

The friendly owners make you feel welcome. The house is situated in a safe area and we had a very comfortable, quiet room. Included is a delicious fresh cooked breakfast. Incredible value for money!

What a welcoming family, so friendly and fun! Went out of their way to provide the best breakfast, advice on tourist attractions and more! I am looking forward to going back! The rooms were stunningly done up, all unique and well decorated. The pool was refreshing on the hot days
