It was nice and clean

Our stay here was great!!. Rooms are lovely,spacious and very clean. Hotel is central to shops and restaurants. Owners were absolutely very accommodating to our needs and are so kind,inviting and friendly. Nothing we asked or requested was ever an issue and they were always willing to help us. The cleaners do a great job and are also lovely people. We will stay here again, and also be recommend this great hotel to family and friends. Great price, quiet atmosphere.

The only thing positive about this motel was its location. We were travelling to Tassie on the Spirit and it was only a 10 minute drive to the terminal. We did stay in the small upstairs room so did not have high expectations but even those low expectations were nowhere near met. The room was dirty and in need of repair. The furniture was in a sad state and curtains/blind dirty. Do not believe the photos (one should never do so), the room was nothing like it. The web page states a small continental breakfast is available for all rooms. Not so. I queried reception about its availability and received a blank look. Never again.

We pre-booked for 1 night,arriving early evening, cost $150. Location was convenient to our travel needs. Room was clean, quiet, ground floor and car park right outside door. But boy, was it tired and basic: two air conditioners but one didn't work and the second was very old and had no knobs. Blankets were minimal (glad it wasn't winter), bathroom functional but wash basin doubled as kitchen sink. One bedlight didn't work, cutlery mismatched, Summary? Not sure what we expected for $150, but...?

We went with 2 other families and the mold on the ceiling was the best part of the experience. No one was available on-site after 8 pm with no way of contacting them and paying was a nightmare. Another couple turned up at about 9 pm and ended up sleeping outside on the park bench as they were on a motorbike after numerous failed attempts to try to get the management. We were going to stay again but canceled our reservation. Very disgusted.
