Beautiful hotel. Rooms are spacious & comfortable that comes with great views. Plus you have activities on the 4th floor.

Having stayed at Qafqaz Tufandag Hotel during winter solely for skiing, the review is based on our winter experience. Winter Experience: The ideal hotel to stay during winter in Gabala / Tufandag, if Snow or Skiing is what you are looking for. The ski rental shop and the ski lift are attached to the hotel, which makes it very convenient. You can even rent the Ski Mobile from right behind the hotel. Rooms: The room that we had (Deluxe Room) was spacious with a lounge area, balcony and a spacious bathroom. The Room & bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable for a tight sleep after a day of skiing. Meals: The buffet breakfast had a good spread to choose from. The Ala Carte dinner was also good with both continental and local cuisine. Staff: The staff at the reception (Check In), the restaurant (Dinner) and the Ski Centre were very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay at the hotel during the next winter.

Outstanding experience Exceptional people. Everything between check in and check out was exceptional 5 stars. Highly recommended! Worth every penny you will spend on it. I know we will be discussing and missing this trip for a long time. Safe Travel to all who are planning to visit this resort.

Отель 5* по набору услуг, сервису, отзывчивости персонала соответствует "звездности". Есть минусы, которые существенно испортили впечатление от пребывания. Сказать хотя бы об исчезновении мелких личных вещей из номера. В СПА салоне работают в лучшем случае стажеры, не знающие азов анатомии, массажа и косметических процедур - хуже не видела нигде. Хотя оборудован салон на 5*. В прокате спортивного оборудования при полной цифровизации процесса (!) и широком ассортименте лыжи не заточены и возможности затачивания нет, воска для обработки досок и лыж тоже нет. Трассы - смертельные, ибо повсюду палки и кора от окружающего леса. Один плюс - практически нет людей на склоне :). Инфраструктура скудная: только ресторан внутри отеля и бургерная. Пойти некуда, выбора нет. Бассейна тоже нет. В общем, если речь о спортивном отдыхе, то однозначно не в этом месте. Если поспать и полюбоваться природой - годится.

I love that the location doesn’t require me to travel to enjoy the snow activities. My room was overlooking the lake and it was beautiful! The facilities are great, the hallways were warm with beautiful paintings and smells good, the restaurant both bar and the Elite served tasty food. The spa was also cozy enough to relax after a tiring day of snow activities. Best part is the staff were exceptional, they were kind and accommodating to requests, clearly attentive to their guests. As a solo traveler, this provided me a safe environment. Thank you for the wonderful experience Qafqaz! ❤️

Great location for holidays, big rooms with all amenities, friendly and courteous staff,amazing dine in experience. The Tufandag cable car is just outside the fourth floor of Qafqaz Tufandag Hotel which made so convenient for us to enjoy the stay. Highly recommended and will visit again.

Honestly saying, there is no better resort to live here in qabala other than this. I mean they are more than perfect and value for money. You must be thinking that the other resort are way cheaper than this but once you come here than you won’t even think of living anywhere else, Simply AMAZING.

My only regret is my visit to Gabala was only two days one night. The hotel was spotless. Food good, breakfast excellent and staff really friendly and happy to help. Rooms large and great AC. Panoramic views from rooms and restaurant are stunning. Good sized walk in showers. This hotel is actually a formal stop on the cable cars which take you up and across these mountains. You must try them but not if you are scared of heights ! Gabala is a very traditional Azerbaijani town. Many authentic restaurants and very reasonably priced. Only downside is the drive from Baku is 3-4 hours. But worth it.
