Ok for 1 night stop over, Location is good and safe area just off the I-5 interstate.
Little expensive.
Could use in room safe box
Need better Hair dryer.
We stayed 2 times, first time wasn’t as good the room was little dirty, 2 time was much better room.

This is a beautiful property and very clean.
I would have given it five stars all the way around but the staff is not all that great or welcoming. The guy that checked us in with pretty rude and I certainly didn't feel welcome. After that he watched us walk around for 5 minutes trying to find the elevators and didn't say anything. I think he did barely mentioned where the elevators were when I checked in but he talked so fast with a lot of information so I didn't really catch it all. Sucks because the hotel that we left the night before was completely the opposite and they were so accommodating.

We live in this town and for my husbands 30th birthday we thought it would be nice to stay at this hotel for a night without children. Unfortunately upon checking in we were informed by a very rude staff checkin person that we MUST pay an additional $250 on top of the nightly room fee because we were “local”. It instantly made us feel worthless and “less then” everyone else who was there. All we wanted was a quiet night out and it ended up costing us a mini fortune. There was no prior warning for this extraordinary charge either. Instantly ruined our mini “trip”. Anyone “local” please be warned because this is very predatory.

This was my first time at the Doubletree and it was a pleasured experience. I don't remember the name of the gentleman who helped us at the counter but he quickly realized that our room is a disable one. He asked if we'd like to switch to a regular room with no disability access and I said yes. I will be looking forward to more stay here. Thank you

This hotel is in a great location right across the street from the Saroyan Theater where we were seeing a concert. Rooms were great, food was great and the bar was great.

Convenient to the convention center. Friendly staff and adequate amenities for the region. Free parking with a security guard in the lot. It has a great 70s vibe, which with a little updating would be amazing.
