Nice design and mostly clean hotel BUT:
AC remote was not working properly therefore the AC stop running every 2 minutes and have to be manually switch OFF and ON again…
Toilet was clogged on arrival
Those two issues could have been solved by requesting a change of room but unfortunately we discovered them in the middle of the night and didn’t find the motivation to pack and unpack our things again.
What bothered and surprised us for a Marriott’s brand is the lack of Housekeeping supervision / management…
A good supervisor should have detected the AC control didn’t light-up (no numbers or data on the screen, no response to any impute) and, while cleaning the bathroom, a good housekeeper should have detect that not even the water was getting away from the toilet, this let me wonder if the toilet has been cleaned properly.
Generally speaking: not the worst hotel experience at all but we didn't rest properly and are somewhat disappointed and surprised to have those kind of issues in a Marriott’s brand.
