碼頭邊度假酒店(Dockside Inn & Resort)

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Fort Pierce Inlet mit eigenem Zugang zu den Docks. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Fußläufig erreichbar sind mehrere Restaurant sowie der Fort Pierce Jetty Park - wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind sauber aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen, die Betten komplett durchgelegen (wir konnten nicht zusammen in einem liegen, da wir immer zusammengerollt sind). Unser Zimmer verfügte zusätzlich über eine Küche, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Fenster und Tür gehen direkt an die Veranda, die auch der Zugang zu allen Zimmern ist - so fehlen Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Alles in allem für eine Nacht OK, aber ab 2 Nächten Rückenschmerzen.

While I am sure the other rooms were quieter, you should definitely avoid room 411. This room is just a few feet away from busy A1A, and day and night all you can here is motorbikes roaring up and down and pickups racing past with their full, thudding bass notes turned way up. It's a nigh**are of a room, and we left after two nights as we couldn't get any sleep.

Excellent place and staff. The staff even noticed we left some money in our room, at checkout and called us to return the money. We were very grateful for their honesty. We have stayed there several times and never had an issue. We will continue to stay there when we are in Ft Pierce.

We stayed here two years ago and came back. We requested the same room and got it, overlooking the inlet. Not much has changed..and the location can’t be beat. It remains a pretty tired motel but with fully controllable air conditioning and heating...Now if the internet (room 118) worked and the TV (not that we wanted to watch anything but maybe local news) worked we would be happy...and no I didn’t complain to the front desk. To be fair, just as we were leaving I found a second TV remote...which may have been helpful. If you are all all internet dependent as is my wife you will be disappointed...unless the front desk is able to deal with the slow internet dropping in and out. My advice, use your cell phone as a hot spot.

This was our fourth stay at this hotel. It is not fancy, but the beds are super comfortable, the rooms are clean, several have full kitchens and the views from the balcony rooms are amazing. There is a small beach on-site and two salt water pools. Great beaches are minutes away. You can fish on the hotel dock (there is a bait shop on-site) and off-shore charters are minutes away. There is a decent restaurant on-site and many options minutes away. Staff are really friendly and very accommodating.

My husband and I spent nine nights at the Dockside Inn this February. We were only able to book the accommodation near On the Edge Restaurant due to this resort's popularity. It is known for its return visitors. The room was self accommodating and included a stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, full refrigerator and freezer, a television, a separate bedroom, and ample closet/storage space. As far as self accommodating, we usually book this type of resort as we do our own cooking. The biggest issue was the lack of utensils necessary to cook meals. There were no sharp knives, measuring spoons or cups, small glasses, pans, can/bottle openers, and oven mitts. This was a bit of a challenge. We were fortunate that the fine hard working folks at the restaurant were able to help us out. The manager, Lois, actually purchased a colander for us. What a nice person she is. There are two pools. Only one is heated. The grills require charcoal, which we had to purchase. there was no lighter/matches available to start the grills. We had to purchase a lighter. This is probably the only complaint I have. it would be nice if the management could purchase a few more amenities for the rooms. It would not be a big expense. If you stay in the accommodation near the restaurant, be prepared for live music that plays until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. We did not mind. There were also various musicians on Thursdays and Sundays who play earlier in the day. If you require complete privacy and peace and quiet, this room type is not for you. The location cannot be beat. it is near parks, beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. This is a very nice part of Florida. It is easy to find something to do and easy to find peace and solitude. Our thanks to Lois and the main maintenance man, both of whom are amazingly wonderful people and hard workers. Shout out to the people at the on-site restaurant who were so helpful and kind. We will be back next year.

We spent the night on August 19, 2022 we arrived by boat, I checked in we were given room 416 which was OK, Because we had a service dog and they told us we had to stay there. The Accommodations were OK no paper towels in the kitchen no AC in the little living room only in the bedroom, the bed was a king size and the mattress was wrapped in plastic which was warm to sleep on the bathroom was old small no counter space at all, but the worst part was checking out Lois who is the manager was very rude, she charged me for a pet that was a service pet and I explained to her that when my husband made the reservations a week before she was aware of this and gave him a hard time and was very rude on the phone with him. But he made the reservation and we spent the evening, then when I checked out, she gave me a hard time and asked me why the dog was whining when he wasn’t and charged me that fee because of that but then finally removed the fee after I showed her what my rights were about having a service dog. She was just outright rude and stern , not polite and didn’t thank us for staying there. I wouldn’t go back there, she lost our business She’s lucky I rated this two stars

We have been visiting ft pierce for over 10 years. We love dockside inn they have 2 pools ,clean rooms,restaurant with live music! We also bring our 32'boat and there is plenty of dockage and it is not public so you will need a key card to gain access.

I was here for a wedding, with most of the guests staying at this hotel so it was very nice to have everyone close by. Great location, beautiful poolside room with plenty of room for me and my sister-in-law. We had a very late check-in on the 18th, but Martine was right there to check us in and find us a parking spot. The entire experience was very good and I'd come back here again!
