It was an average hotel, nothing too special. I have no complaints- I liked the little store and they let me check In early

They make an effort to treat their guest courteously and the food for breakfast was bonus.

Besides the price (~$150CAD) of the 1 night stay, there wasn't anything good about the hotel. To start, when we arrived at the hotel around 9pm, the reception clerk was unable to find our booking. After searching through the system for 10-15 minutes, she was able to find the booking but seems someone had already checked-in into our room. The staff tried to call the person who processed the check-in but unable to reach the person. She then attempted to go to the room and knock to see if anyone was in the room. To my surprise, she said she heard a person snoring in the room. OMG! I cannot believe this hotel actually allowed someone to check-in without asking to see a piece of identification. After 20-30 minutes, the staff did check us into another room. The room was fair but had an 'old' building smell. The bathroom was 'old' as well but can see some parts were renewed. The toilet tank took 10-15 minutes to refill. We can hear people's foot steps and chatting in the outside hallway. The a/c was off when we got into the room but it felt cool. Reason being the cold air draft was coming in from the window. Breakfast was not good. The whole experience at this hotel/inn was terrible. Will never book La Quinta ever again.

I booked through Orbitz where the pet fee was listed as $20. I received an email from the property stating it was $30. I was told at check in it was $40!!! I was charged $30. The shower faucet was broken and I had to attach the cable to the TV to get reception. The heater was very loud.

I booked for a non smoking room. When entered could smell someone smoked something in that room. Tired to ask for different room, but apparently room were all booked so could not change. Ended up having the window open all day and night. Was hard to sleep since it was beside the highway and was noisy. Not to mention the room you could see smudges of some kind here...

This hotel is in the WORST part of town. Our car got broken into overnight. The springs stuck out through the mattress. The sheets were pilly. We had to switch rooms because the toilet was all backed up and about to flood. Never staying here again! I was scared to go out of my room by myself at night.

I dont appreciate almost a week later not receiving my deposit back amd they actually charged my account before i even opened the door 100 dollars for the deposit it was never pending. The guy at the desk said it wouldnt charge but it very much did. Lacks honesty and consistency.
