尤金-斯普林菲爾德河谷酒店(Valley River Inn Eugene/Springfield)

This my first time to Eugene(go for a test)🤣.The location is close to my test spot and you can get food and entertainment issues easily.The room is so nice and big but the way to the room may not so easy.The guidelines is not such clear shown on the way.

We had a late arrival/checkin and was greeted a family smile and excellent checkin process. I want to commend Laura B for making the process very pleasant. Lause was very courteous & professional. She should b commended as a stellar employee.

We loved this hotel. We brought our dog and they were so pet-friendly. Also, there was a Christmas Tree fundraising event going on which made the stay so much fun! We got to see amazing Christmas trees, donate some money to a good cause and visit a Craft Fair in the hotel. All of the employees, from the front desk to the restaurant server were so friendly and kind. We will absolutely stay at this hotel again when passing through Eugene.

We were truly disappointed in our stay. No one told me that there was a parking fee of $10.00 a night until I received my final bill. There was no maid service provided. We found out from another guest that you had to request a cleaning 24 hours prior to when it was needed. I was not informed about this at check in. Our trash can was totally full after our 3 night stay, and no maids in sight to ask for a new bag, etc. I forgot an item in the room and called the evening of the day we returned home to ask about it. No call back. I called the next day and was informed "We just finished cleaning the room and no items left behind." I asked them to check the microwave as it was a heat pack for my back. Sure enough, it was still there. If the room was "cleaned" no one checked to clean the microwave. There was a bag full of dog poop outside our patio door. We didn't come with a dog and the bag laid there the 4 days we were there. Light bulbs burned out in the bathroom. The desk chair pad was ripped and torn and the chair wheels barely worked. It was awful. Plus the room rate was doubled two nights due to the Oregon Ducks football game. Total rip off. We had a family event at the hotel and paid $4400 for it, and they still have the nerve to double the fee for Friday and Saturday due to the game. Family that needed to take the shuttle to the airport to catch a flight were told "call a cab" we don't have room for you, that was 24 hours before they even needed it.

We planned this trip to Eugene months ago, but the day we arrived, a serious fire had occurred shutting the hotel down, so we had to leave and find our own accommodations.

Property seems to be rather poorly maintained. My opinion was supported when a fire broke out in the hotel about a half hour after we left for the airport. As it happened, the flight crew of our plane was staying there and had to evacuate, thereby preventing our plane from leaving on time. Really messed up our trip.

I liked the appearance of the exterior as well as that of my room. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend you to my friends.

The shuttle sriver, Matthew was amazing! Polite, kind, and helpful! The front desk girl was sqeet as pie. We loved the fireplace in the lobby area. We were freezing as we had just returned from 90-degree Costa Rica 🇨🇷 weather and it felt amazing. The Sweetwaters restaurant was delicious and our server, Victoria was wonderful serving our breakfast! Such a nice place to come "home to".

We rented a room for three people with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. When we pulled the sleeper sofa bed out, all it had was a old stained mattress cover and no additional bedding was provided. When called the front desk we were told the housekeeping staff had gone home and no additional bedding was available. After we walked down to the front desk, they were able to come up with on blanket, so my daughter had to sleep on the closed sofa with one blanket and a chair cushion for a pillow. Also the refrigerator in the room did not keep our food cold and we had to discard it all the next day. This was once an amazing hotel, but it is very aged and in need up updating. The only part that still looks like the grand hotel it once was, is the front lobby.
