Hyatt Place Eugene/Oakway Center

This is a great place to stay. Very safe, parking is separate from public and gated. It is a very nice hotel with excellent staff. The only issue we had in a 2-day stay is, the breakfasts are not top notch. We will stay here again as we are in Eugene several times a year. We can always find a good breakfast, but this may be the nicest hotel in town.

The property was smelling of urine. We were traveling with 2 3 year olds and were given a room next to a bar, making it very hard for us to put them to bed. The management was not very helpful in resolving any of these issues. Overall, very disappointed that Hyatt place would have such a property. Am sure this place might work for most folks, but if you are traveling with young children, I would recommend to look elsewhere. Further, we were booked for 2 nights and lost a night because we did not want to stay here after our experience the first night.

It’s a beautiful hotel but I think we were placed in an older room with chipped desk and random marks on the wall like furniture was moved around. Overall though a decent stay.

The only big drawback is that none of the key card systems were working, but that allowed them to have good service while solving peoples problems. Overall happy kids, happy dad.

Awful! I guess when you book with ******* they give you the left over rooms, no matter what room you booked, ie handicapped rooms they cannot sell. Showers that soak the whole bathroom floor! They said because I booked through a third party, will not use ******* in the future.

In check in, I found the clerk petty. There are 3 of us in a room but he can only give 2 bottles of water. Really?? Ridiculous The room rate here very high for terrible service

Very comfortable, friendly and pleasant. Great breakfast. Staff very friendly. Close to everything! We have a new favorite Eugene hotel!
